The one thing that I am currently afraid of is quitting smoking. I am going to begin this on my birthday and it'll be after thirty years of actively smoking... Yeah, I am scared shitless.

Ok, I have to say this is probably my biggest fear of all. Even though my daughter is an adult now, I still call her about twice a week just to make sure she's ok and it annoys her and Master has gotten on my case a time or two for being too smothering of her (hey I'm a mom...I'm allowed! [8D] ). But I worry constantly about her and if anything ever happened to her I've already told my family and Master they may as well lock me away right then and there.

I think I could tolerate all the other fears I have as long as I knew nothing bad would ever happen to her.

That is an awful lot of negative spiritual energy that you push towards your daughter. And the Divine upon this your invocation will cause terrible things to happen to your daughter.

People who are afraid of dogs get bitten. People who fear drowning will board ships that will sink. People who fear that their loved one will not return from a war will have to do without him, for he will die in that war.

I recommend that you stop worrying about your daughter and that you replace all of that negative spiritual energy with positive spiritual energy: be confident that your daughter is alright, in good health and doing well.

the sooner you quit the better off you are.. but ya know, smokers can get stomach cancer as long as 30 years after they quit.. thats what I read anyway.. I think that is true as my mother quit but years later had to be operated on for stomach cancer (she died a year later of heart failure tho)..

I've got a recommendation, if you'd like one. No pills, no patches, no bullshit. I've only been doing this for a month and yesterday, I smoked all of FIVE cigarettes. Keep in mind, a couple of months back, I had a two pack a day habit. I'm not going to try to push the idea on you, but if you want some info, look Me up.

My colleague stopped smoking since she got diagnosed with lung cancer in may. As her cancer spread, her prognosis is worse than for my mum.
