I HATE talking on the phone. I've been known to avoid making a simple phonecall for weeks because I literally can't stand it. Totally irrational.

I am not fond of it and avoid it when it isn't necessary. I do too much of it at work.

I dont like it either....if I dont know the person, like now with my car credit company writing me and telling me to call them due to my current financial chaos, I prefer to write to them than to call them....as I am just better in explaining that situation in writing than over the phone....

My biggest fear is that my kids will not be self-sufficient.

My daughter is a surgical consultant.
My son is entering his senior year of college and has interned in England for the summer.
So maybe I have nothing to fear.

But you know, the world is changing.

My biggest fear are heights.....i cant stand them. I think it's about losing control and strangely, that's about bdsm as well.....but there would be someone to catch me :)

The suffering of my parents as well. They're getting older, all kinds of diseases coming up and well....bah, just thinking about it and i'm tearing up ... :)

I dislike heights but it's not as bad as it used to be.

My fears tend to revolve around others and their well being, like my son, or my girl. We always want the best for the ones we love, and when it's not there, we make it for them, or support them. I will always take care of and help them, any way I can. When I can't, it's a feeling I'm not very fond of.

it's normal to have some fears....pretending to have none is a little dangerous.....

I'm not really afraid of anything specific, I
do feel anxious in certain situations, other
things can get my blood pumping, but do I
"fear" them?

I will say that I have been bushwalking of a
night, when your walking along in the dark
alone in the bush, the mind can start to play
tricks and that can be......... Interesting...

Elevators in really tall buildings.... I can't take it. The heights, not a problem, I love the view! But, the little enclosed box rocketing through an enclosed tube to get there? Horrifying...

Bees (allergic), needles, heights, losing someone I love (not necessarily in that order).

At age 44 I would be more afraid of living a lie and being unhappy than being alone.

What LaTigresse said.  Living it right now, much more frightening than being alone.

I fear that one day my work skills will be dated, and I'll be left without an easy way to make a living. Probably not a rational thing to worry about at my age, but nevertheless, ugh!

People that read the sun. They've turned their brains off and are ready to be programmed with a set of opinions they should have whilst paying for this privilege.

Everybody has a fear of something, the unknown. I'm afraid of heights and the fear of falling off something high and into deep water. I dont mind being in a boat on the water or swimming in water though.
