LOL
Oh the irony when the person you've blocked responds on the thread about blocking.

You joined that block party, too, huh? ::chuckles:: It was fairly obvious it was a poster in a fake name who was just trying to get the goat of people. Seems to happen a lot around here.

Oh wait.. I can't answer this post, because LaT will know she's not blocked! Damn.

Four, thank goodness for block!  Some people make no sense, or aren't dealing in reality, and I don't want to subject myself to their ramblings.  There is always the posibility that I will add more....

Ok so after reading this thread I have come to the conclusion that  I'm weird. I have never blocked anyone...here...on the other side....or on any other site or IM program. Guess nobody really bothers me that much to waste the effort of blocking them. When someone says things online in a consistent manner that would cause me to put them in the clueless ass category, I just say "what an ass" and move on to the next. I even generally still read their stuff as it usually provides comic relief. Maybe I'm a mental masochist...do you think I might need therapy for this?....lol

Never bothered with it, personally... always find it amusing to watch people foam at the mouth, flail around and generally accomplish nothing at all...

I have never blocked anyone here. I have blocked people in chat on instant messaging systems because they booted me from chatrooms, spammed me, or threatened me. But here I see no purpose to blocking people, Even if they email me, I do not have to read it, I can just delete it unopened.

I don't block people anymore.. Yes, I'm the nosey type that will unblock them to see what's next. But then again...I don't see any point of blocking someone.. even if I did then someone else in the thread will just quote them and I get to see it anyway.  I just skip over their post and go on.

Ya know I was kind of thinking that myself. After I read that I remembered a certain late winter surprise I was a part of for a friend that lived out in the country. We all got neked and on the hood of a big old LTD (except for the driver that was also in charge of calling the house) and had them come outside to see the "surprise"..........3 tipsy neked women.
(it was much funnier after many margaritas)

While there are likely some who have blocked me for passionate (at least politically) opinions... but I have yet to block anyone on this side.  There are a couple whose posts I tend to skip over regularly, unless something jumps out at me.  Even if I don't agree with the way someone thinks, it's nice to know what others are thinking in the world around me.  I chalk it up to learning one way or the other.

Many margaritas often increase the humour value of almost everything. ;)

Ditto, never blocked anyone on either side.

I haven't blocked anyone on this side and probably wont.  I don't have much time to read or post, so I just focus on the things that interest me or provide comic relief and skip the rest.

There are a couple posters who annoy me, but that is more my issue than theirs.  If I block them, I might not learn something about myself.  There are probably others who think they annoy me and I just have to laugh at that.  I have also been instructed not to interact with a poster, because he thinks it is a waste of my time.

I haven't blocked a lot of people on the other side.  Maybe twenty, if that.
I just blocked my first on this side.  I don't know why I waited so long...she's always annoyed me.
The only problem I foresee is that my curiousity will get the better of me.
After all...I do like trainwrecks.
So who blocks on this side?  How many?
And do you ever go and peek every now and then to see what assinine things are spewing forth?

I've blocked the idiot that used to come on the weekends and post the incredibly long, assinine threads aimed at the military and the United States.

I've never blocked anyone else, but have been tempted to do so twice.
