Owner....#1) it ain't whining, the fact is far too many of CM posters use this venue to bitch without checking facts.

#2) Republicans have been dodging Obama for 3+ years so he never had a chance. They truly wanted to see him fail, and they succeeded, hence why I think, as Jessie Ventura recently said (even though he may be a true whack job) "stop putting people on tickets as Republican or Democrats...just list their names...no moniker"....

But....that's illegal.

And we've allowed same.

The Republicans aren't to blame, nor are the Democrats.

We are.

We let EVERY bit of this happen and every time someone opens their clap trap to explain why one party is better (or worse) than the other is missing the GRANDEST point of all:

They're all FUCKS.

And (again)......

We let it happen.

#3) It's the same damn game that's been played since time immemorial. Look back to Socrates....it's the same damn shit. History is always your guide. (It's an amazing thing...history).

If Obama wanted to get his tasks done, he should have worked harder to either get more Dems in (which he had, by the way in the first 2 years and Dems voted against him in several secular events), or worked harder to get 'across the aisle"......but, I'll be the first to admit he was fucked the day he walked in, both with the economy as well as the buttress against him.

Doesn't change the facts (even as the Republicans were assholes)...

He's the Prez...it's his job to find consensus.

He didn't find it...he chose a different path.

He had uniforms created that resembled them and had members of the guard staff try them on to see how they would look. Len chapman told nixon to go fuck himself and his "imperial uniform" the uniform of the marine corps would not be changed.

I think the decorative lot outside Buck House and St James' tend to be from either the Coldstream Guards or the Grenadier Guards, though technically any commonwealth unit can provide the troops for that.

I am glad shepard stood his ground.
I was not terribly keene on mcnamaras unisex shit either but it made me a little money as a byproduct...I acquired a pile of the 'old style" and now they bring good bux on ebay to collectors of militaria.
