How many people would "Nazi" Fred Cowan have had the balls to even talk back to without a gun?

if the guy with the knife was in mid stab when I saw him, and I was armed, I probably wouldn't even warn him to stop, I'd be more about stopping him with lead. On the other hand, if he stabbed two people, and then was standing away from people, I'd warn him to stop, and only shoot if he decided it was a better idea to go after another person. Glad that someone was able to stop it without further bloodshed.
