This is the first time in nearly forty years that I have been stung by a wasp; the second time in my life. My hand for a couple of centimeters now is getting thick.

I did not ask the Divine for this. Did someone else?

Does someone hate me?

It happened after I started my poll on people suffering from Rule Obsessed Disorder earlier today. Is there a spiritual connection? Did one of the ROD people see my poll and spiritually instruct the Divine to hurt me?

I suppose one interpretation is that the Divine hates you. Alternatively it could be the case that the Divine doesn't control the actions of wasps, perhaps on account of it not existing.

I do not know. I did not consider to ask him or her. Nor do I perceive most wasp messages - I presume that they are of an olfactory nature?

Well, we know from your numerous posts on the subject, you are not wearing a hoodie, so we can dismiss the SYG defense.

I suppose one interpretation is that the Divine hates you.

You have an incorrect perception of the Divine. It is impartial and cannot - will not - interfere on its own volition. It merely facilitates the spiritually conveyed desires of every being - and perchance of inanimate objects as well - in our universe(s).

I approve of solipsism, but you have yet a long way to go. I have three more steps for you on your road to enlightenment:
1. The spoon does not exist,
2. The mountain you so desperately cling to does not exist,
3. (This is the clincher.) You do not exist.

And that leaves me to wonder why someone who does not exist would un-Hide my posts? Am I imagining that un-Hiding, like everything else, including myself? Questions, questions. Whomever claimed that solipsism is easy?

The famous drag queen Divine?
You might remember her from a few John Waters films.

Paranoid Pete assures me that it's your perceptions of the Divine which are incorrect and he's an itinerant prophet after all. Just look at that mans beard, he's clearly a grade A prophet!

There's an industry that needs consultants. With some good marketing and a solid business plan, they could ban together as Proph-Co and rake in trillions.

You know the story of the scorpion and the frog? It goes something like this: the scorpion wished to cross the river so asked the frog for a ride on his back. Wary of the scorpion the frog at first declined saying he did not wish to get a deadly sting from the scorpion's tail. The scorpion, desperate to get to the other side, promised he would not sting the frog but be forever grateful. Against his better judgment the frog agreed to ferry the scorpion across the river. the scorpion jumped on the frog's back and off they went. Halfway across the river the scorpion stung the frog. With his dying breath the frog looked back at the scorpion and asked, "Why did you sting me? Now we will both die." The scorpion replied. "Idiot! How could I not? That's what scorpions do."

I hope you received a tetenus shot.

The Divine is the Wasp. What was the wasp telling you?

What did you need to hear that was so painful?

Ya gotta give credit to Rule though. He put up a thread that is mostly all about himself, and we indulged him. An exquisite exercise in egotism. Congratulations to Rule
