He was somebody's hero.

He is pictured in the museum true enough, not for protesting but a 1993 picture (thats long after the war) and it talks about his work finding POWs/MIAs.

It does not mention anything about his protesting, nor does it show any picture of him protesting, both things readily available.

Although, I do see they have Richard Nixon enshrined as an Honorary communist, and have a policy of honorary destroyer of America and servile son of Ho Chi Minh for every republican that has ever obtained office in all of america.

Considering the situation US mass media can not be trusted. Pushing WMD issue up-front is just another tactic to manipulate public opinion (sounds scary, terror related).
It was noticed by the author:
"Most westerners who take their knowledge of world affairs religiously from the pages of the Washington Post or CNN or BBC are convinced the Syrian mess is a clear cut case of “good guys” (the so-named Syrian National Council and its rag-tag makeshift “Free Syrian Army”) versus the “bad guys” (the Al-Assad dictatorship with its armed forces). For more than a year western media has run footage, some as noted,  not even filmed in Syria, claiming that innocent, unarmed opposition civilian pro-democracy populations are being massacred ruthlessly in a one-sided butchery by the regime."
I am not sure if it is true, no reasonable person fails to notice clear propaganda characteristics of the Obama administration public announcements about the situation.

At least the president tried to help an AMERICAN company....even though it ultimately failed.

Mitt would have shipped Solyndra to China......(the one`s who flooded the world market with cheap solar-cells using government subsidies)one piece at a time.
