I've had the honor of serving and being good friends with a Dom/Domme couple. They have both made sacrifices for each other. That's why they've been together 20+ years.

Master has made sacrifices but He would call it taking care of His property. I really like the term investing vs sacrificing. Has a more positive connotation.
