That's what I've got from it as well.

My thoughts don't necessarily apply to the original topic but they do seem to apply to the over all theme. I am most definitely wired for poly. BUT.......at the current time I am pretty much living my life monogamous. Not because I am, but because it's going to take a pretty fucking rare and amazing person to fit into my life.

OP, please consider the two words I bolded in my previous sentence. FIT INTO And I mean exactly that. No one is going to be a piece of ass on the side. No one is going to be a, just whenever I might be in the moooooooood, or have some free time. They would have to 'fit into' my life. Ultimately, that will include everything else that already IS, my life.
