Yeah, you mis-read and I mis-typed (sort of) All during the campaign, we were told how bad the economy was ("It's the economy, stupid") and bombarded with how bad things were. I distinctly remember news reports about a week after the elections where people were saying (essentially): "Oooooops! Things aren't as bad as we thought. It seems that we're starting on the way back to recovery". It was absolutely before the commander-in-heat was sworn in. I was pissed and that's where I realized just how left leaning the media was.
