I feel much better, now, about my transient history. Thank you. :)

I'm the throw-shit-in-a-box-and-just-drive-slow kind of packer, so moving doesn't really faze me too much. Not like those people that wash all their clothes and put them in vacuum bags by category to save space on the moving truck. That's just weird.

I seriously never had any interest to move that much...but having lived in Ireland and the UK and done 3 qualifications since leaving school...it somehow came to it that I had to move at times....

My plan now is to move to a max of 3 times more until I die one day....after all...I certainly did enough contribution to economies with spending money on moving companies

and petrol for my moves with my own car

Moving wise I am no hero....I always aim to chuck everything out which will be unneccessary only always to run out of time and just toss most of it then into boxes...

Here I moved in in may and I still have a heck of a lot to do here....but I am also saying to myself....I have the time, so I am taking it

No need to rush too badly....after all...I know what I have in my boxes its not as if I would be opening any xmas parcels as a kid

I had to move three times about a year after the Northridge Earthquake (1994) here in Southern California. Once to a new place that had a one-year lease while they fixed the building we lived in..since that was only a one-year lease we then moved to my ex's parents house and lived with them for about 5-6 months I think..hard to remember.......then back to where I live right now again and first started living in in 1979 but now I live alone...so I haven't really moved much but that was the 2-3 most traumatic years of my life I think.

Since '08, moved to Boise to stay with son and family. Moved to Portland 2/12, stayed with a friend till I found housing. Got a very expensive apt ( for me) in April cause I needed something. And now found something subsidized. For someone who hates to move, seems like I have been doing it a lot lately. However I hope this next move will be it for a very long time. Everytime I move I do a major cull. Am a book lover so most of the boxes are books. Also like to cook/bake so have lots of pans/roasters; small ones cause its only me.

Want to reduce possessions even more. Hard cause I just know as soon as I get rid of something I will need it.
