culareD -> HECK no..she won't go... (8/30/2012 7:40:57 AM)

"I'm in your town for business, let'sdo dinner tonight.mstaying downtown @marriott."

Okay...so the quote above was in my "inbox" this morning...I am not going...duh.

My question though, what should I do before I block this guy, if anything?

What am I missing in my profile that would suggest I would even do this?

His profile picture is of his entire naked body ass facing the screen...

I've never met this guy...never. We haven't even conversed. Hmmm...

GreedyTop -> RE: HECK no..she won't go... (8/30/2012 7:49:08 AM)

ignore and block, darlin'. that's about all you CAN do, unless there is a TOS violation in his pics or profile....

culareD -> RE: HECK no..she won't go... (8/30/2012 7:53:45 AM)

Could I get the refresher course on TOS? *humbly she asks*

ChatteParfaitt -> RE: HECK no..she won't go... (8/30/2012 7:54:33 AM)

I get this type of crap on a regular basis. It's men playing a numbers game on the statistical chance they will get lucky.

That's it.

Oh and you have a gorgeous feet, so I imagine they found that attractive. Serious doubts on them reading your profile. (I was corresponded with someone off and on for months and when I told him it was a waste of my time he said: But I read your *whole* profile. Like it was something special. LOL)

Really, block, delete, move on. It's soooooo not you.

culareD -> RE: HECK no..she won't go... (8/30/2012 8:02:16 AM)

BLOCKED...and thanks. Yes, I do get comments on the shoes, some not so nice. That's to be expected though, I suppose.

Lucifyre -> RE: HECK no..she won't go... (8/30/2012 8:05:44 AM)

I perved your profile. I had to see the shoes again <grin>

culareD -> RE: HECK no..she won't go... (8/30/2012 8:13:28 AM)

I love it!

ChatteParfaitt -> RE: HECK no..she won't go... (8/30/2012 8:15:13 AM)

And the pretty blue nail polish, too.

When you give great shoe, you have to accept that not all of your many admirers will be Mr Wonderful.

Now I have to go see if I have a nail polish that color. . .

JeffBC -> RE: HECK no..she won't go... (8/30/2012 9:01:26 AM)

I have to admit I'm a bit confused. I read your profile. I see his dinner invitation. I see your shock and horror at being invited to dinner. I am confused.

You should add into your profile: I will not meet with anyone for any reason no matter how special you think you are before I've come to know you well online.

Now... why you'd want to do such a thing is a mystery to me.

OsideGirl -> RE: HECK no..she won't go... (8/30/2012 9:06:56 AM)

Actually, I learned my lesson about doing dinner as a first meeting.

1) If you don't like him, you're stuck with him for a longer period of time.

2) To many, many guys they think that since they've bought you dinner, they've bought you.

The last part of this is that unless he travels to your city a lot for business, chances are he's looking for a one night stand. Especially since he felt compelled to mention which hotel he's staying.

Yet another desktop diminant who thinks all sub females are looking for quick and strange transit adding to a male mindset that can't get far enough out of his own brain to realize females don't think like him.

Note the crappy typing. He did that on a phone, the day of the proposed meet. The reason he didn't do it on a computer, or before the day itself, is that he was afraid his wife would see.

Quit worrying about what you did. He's just a horny cheater. He typed in your town's zip and began propositioning women one at a time. The order he gets profiles is raked by last online, so yours would be at or near the top.

Interesting...I wonder if I am at the top since I stay logged in? Can you "hide" that you are online?

Amen. That's why first meet is always coffee.
If things go sideways, either or both parties can duck out with little social awkwardness

In my younger days, before Mr (and before D/s for me too), I've been known to just stand up and walk out on a dinner date that's not going uhh..nicely LOL.
If a guy (or anyone) can't make it through 90 minutes worth of a meal out without being a dipshit he can pay the bill without me standing next to him. I know how to get a cab and don't need a fuckin ride home thank you very much.

I got this ALL THE TIME when I lived in FL and added a line in my profile that I was not a tourist attraction and provided a link to a local dungeon. I was REALLY bitchy to men who still wrote after I added that.
