ORIGINAL: Toppingfrmbottom Yup. Trileptal for bi polar and I take it 2 pills a day twice a day. I'm doing pretty good on them. it was 1 pill in morning and 1 at night, and then we switched it to two a morning and 2 a night . It's working good. I've never taken that one, but I think it's in the same class as Lamictal, which is what I'm on. That works well for me too, but I know it does cause me to feel somewhat fuzzy-headed and apathetic and anti-social. I started taking Welbutrin ~6 months ago and it's definitely helped some with making my head feel clearer and having more focus and motivation. (My shrink recommended that one b/c unlike most antidepressants it doesn't usually cause weight gain or sexual problems.) ETA: So maybe you could talk to your shrink about adding an antidepressant? I think you mentioned earlier that you have a lot of trouble with mania, and if that's the case you gotta be careful about the antidepressants because they sometimes can cause mania, but it might be worth a shot. Also, like some other people said, regular exercise will probably help you have more energy too. I know it can be really hard to motivate yourself to get out and get some exercise, but if I can do it I usually feel a lot better afterwards, both in mood and energy.
