edited to clarify...thank you LA for getting rid of that freakin' purple bunny!   hehe  (I'm talking about your avatar pic.

:P  I've got more bunny peep pictures than you will dream of!  Muahaha!

See, now we're into the light hearted fluff post phase of the thread.  I can't wait till Crappy gets on here later.  Wonder how many more times we'll be told that we're just online cyber wannabes who have no conception of reality and have to use the pathetic miserable time we have just to try and take down people who have real experience because we have no lives of our own?

I didn't expect to get an english exam about my thread. I copied and pasted it and the format changed a bit. I was not worried about it.

I got it in an email years ago and didn't care to remember who the author was.

I was not sitting here waiting for people to post. So I guess some one beat me to the punch.

I am an academic and if I did that I would be accused of passing off work that was not mine as being mine. The word plagiarism is defined as follows

Main Entry: pla·gia·rize
transitive senses : to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own : use (another's production) without crediting the source
intransitive senses : to commit literary theft : present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source
- pla·gia·riz·er noun

Now it would not have been considered this if you had said "This philosophy was sent to me by a friend years ago and I am unsure of the source, but I find that it fits my thoughts about being a dominant.. what do you think?"

I realize you may never have went to college, but those of us who have very well know what plagiarism is. Since it is very possible that you do not know I guess we should give you the benefit of the doubt.

OK...I'm passing out the Midol.  Kimera...you first...although at 99, maybe you should only take one.  And yes, I happen to know exactly how pathetic I am, thank you very much.  Is it a full moon?

Yes Lucky you ARE one of the ones I was referring to when i said it was the same people over and over.  i have seen your posts on several of the different threads and every single one is designed to shoot down what other people think and feel and tell them why your thoughts are better...blah blah blah.

In that case, forget my last post in response to yours, Kim.  Gee. it's about time that I started feeling sorry for myself.  LOL

Its better to feel sorry for yourself than have everyone else pitying you...smiles. BTW, why are you feeling sorry?...LOL

Nah, I was being sarcastic...apparently not doing a very good job of it tho.  My comment that "no one cared what I thought" wasn't meant as self pity.  I simply meant that the thread had gone on so long, it seemed pointless to say anything else.  But, I guess Kim saw it as self pity.  No big.

Julia Honey this is not academic forum!  We are not literary experts here...LOL  Give us a break!  What you suggested he say was said on another thread to those of us who were there.  Good grief...can't we just for once discuss the topic....which was "what do you think of the statement", not "is it in the correct format with all the cites in place and do you like ME?"
All this constant hooha over stuff that is completely irrelevant.  I can just feel the life draining right out of me...

It's NOT a terrible habit.  It's one I admire very much.  I love it when people speak precisely.
