I'm making sure to only get my RNC coverage from the dailyshow which is mostly just doing bits where they heckle the delegates.

That way I'll be more informed about the RNC than fox news viewers.

You can also ambush them at your local CostCo apparently.

The billionaires choice for disguising obscene wealth and pretending you are affected by those things most other people are. Common people camouflage in the form of cheap shirts. Probably the main problem in the US is that to run the country you have to first have enough wealth to buy your own moon landing. Just think either side could suspend their advertising and pump that money into local businesses or start up projects to give poor people a line to hang their bread on. This would help the country but will they be doing that anytime soon?

I'd vote for someone that did that, they wouldn't need to convince me with televised ads what was in their heart and what they mainly wanted. Nobody can say they want the job they have to instead say they need to be given the job to help the country.

I am working at a university while preparing for law school and our PoliSci dept has a great media condensation disrtributed as a mailing list. It's not UNbiased, it contains ALL biases. Each condensed article is synopsized and has the link.
Also, I read the NYT, The Providence Journal, The Boston Globe, and The Washington Post (as part of my employment).
TV ... I watch whatever news programs that catch my eye.

I read some stuff but not that much on politics, since I dont vote (I wouldnt vote even if i was an American).. I can leave the country and that is how i "vote".. so i leave it to those that will spend their whole lives in the country to decide their own fate..

I do tend to focus on reports or stories, vids that are on topics that interest me, such as business, economics, the markets, real estate, health & medical developments, etc and all of those topics can be influenced by the govt and which ever puppet Prez is in power at the time.. And really, it doesnt matter to me if its a D or an R that wins the election.. they both dont know what the hell to do for the economy and various other issues.. regardless of how they claim otherwise..

What I watched of the convention, was on PBS. Some of the speeches I heard on the radio, with the right wing commentators following up.

I tend to use to web to read opinions, and to spot the biases that slant each story, but I don't believe most of what I read online, and the newspaper/ news magazine business is dead, they just don't seem to get it yet.

I find it better than everyone else. Their news coverage is actually very good, and they cover world events much better than any of the main stream news networks.

But their commentators like Charley Rose, Gwen Ifil, Judy Woodruff, and Travis Smiley are obviously biased toward the left. But they're nowhere near as bad as Hannity or Maddow, and don't talk over or scream down their guests.

The convention coverage was very fair, and the commentators actually showed the speeches and broadcast them, and saved the commentary and panel discussions for the breaks in between speakers.

I enjoy the programming over all, and tend to think they do a good job of showing the subject of the program in a fair and unbiased manner.
