why this woman has not been dismissed as a delegate ? Speaking completely bipartisanly: this is completely unacceptable. well, I said I would be bi partisan here..... so I will say some Dems did call for Mark Alan Seigal's < another DNC delegate and Dem. Chairman > resignation after his hateful rant. Of course he did not do that, he took a leave of absence. But at least they showed some outrage and took a position. Not all, but a good number of them.

You would have though so. This type of language isnt acceptable, especially at party conferences. Good to see the secret Service are investigating though.

There is no justification for what the NY delegate said. However, Mrs. Castro's perspective of the Alamo is her perspective, born out of her lived-culture. Native Americans say the white man "stole" their lands too; American citizens will say the land was there for the taking. Who is right?

It's far too late to revoke delegate status. See, it's not like these people are the republican party and this woman is gay or a Ron Paul supporter. Relax, she's under surveillance, been told not to leave town. and if they find 'smoke' as subrob I am sure the the republicans will have their 20 minutes of happy dancing. Or maybe we should just marry her off to the GOP's golden child Lee Harvey Nugent.

Earlier this year the DOJ dropped it's charges against the guy who made death threats against Obama when he was campaining in 08. I remember reading at the time that that decision would make it harder or complicate SS investigations of similar threats. It also said the DOJ itself said the decision not to appeal the case to the SCOTUS wuld encourage more threats. So, I'm not so sure the SS will be able to do a whole lot. I will try and find the article and post it, but it clearly said the decision not to appeal the ruling that the guys threats were not legit, set a very bad legal precedence for future cases and the SS. The male wrote something online to the effect of "Fuck the N*** and shoot the N***, he'll have a bullet in his head " < paraphrasing>. He said he was drunk at the time and didn't mean it. The Appeals Court said it wasn't a real threat.

Think back to January about the law Obama signed that allows them to take ownership of a location and detain or repel any parties at their discretion. THAT Law has not been challenged in your SCOTUS example. And it gives them the authority to detain indefinitely I believe. So if your original post was about a genuine concern for either Romney or the President, I hope this allays your concerns.

It's a assumption of course, but one based in long experience. I'm off to watch the Prez do what he is best at, as he tries to paint a pretty picture around four years worth of what he pretty much sucks at.
