Raiikun -> RE: Update on Trayvon Martin case (10/4/2012 6:24:57 PM)

The jailhouse call where George talks about trying to transfer the 37k was Saturday, 4/14. Six days before the bond hearing. Which means the conversation with O'Mara happened before that. Two days later, his wife tells him the account was up to 135k. It's probably George hadn't even talked to O'Mara again after that point, and George was told that he still would qualify for indigence. George did know that O'Mara would be calling his wife to the stand; and after what George had told O'Mara (and then telling his wife to tell the truth before the bond hearing), it's likely George just had put his faith in O'Mara to do what needed done.

Clients generally tend to believe in their attorneys that way after all.

Then the moment the misunderstanding between client and attorney is figured out, the money gets turned in and brought to the attention of the court.

Again; this does not look like an attempt to deceive. Such a criminal mastermind George is, to "hide the money"... then turn it in.

No proof of a lie by omission even, as pointed out. Feigning attempts at mind reading does not make a convincing argument otherwise.

How do you claim indignancy while sitting on thousands and thousands of dollars without lying?

tazzygirl -> RE: Update on Trayvon Martin case (10/4/2012 8:19:55 PM)

He has already been caught twisting the truth to suit his case. It doesnt surprise me that he would take this stance about the money either.

The "lawyer" misunderstood.

The "wife" comes up for courth Oct 17th on perjury charges.

Rather sickening that a man would sit there and allow his wife to be charged this way.

Not if I am beating the shit outta the five year old and he thinks he is gonna die. This wasn't an episode of a chuck norris tv show. fuck

Not following your logic. It does not take a feat of strength to pull something out of your own waistband, even with a broken nose and blood on 45% of your head.

That's just ludicrous to think it would take someone of Chuck Norris's stature to pull off such a trivial thing.

Chuck Norris is a pussy assed actor just like arnold and reagan. lol chuck norris - stature. Isn't he like an inch tall?

Chuck Norris was 5 time world middle weight karate champion before he was an actor.

I was an armed courier. I thought I was being shot at. I was able to pull my pistol but I did not take the hammer lock. Off. Taking the hammer lock off is very simple. My point was adrenaline does crazy things to you. My other point was this all of those things could have happened, the more realistic answer would be that it is a carefully fabricated story.

Keep in mind, George's pistol had no external safety at all. He had to do nothing more than pull and shoot.

Which also mean Zimmerman had a round chamber, he was ready to shoot, he had Martin in his sights when he left his truck.

I always have one in the chamber and hope to God I never have to shoot someone.

BamaD -> RE: Update on Trayvon Martin case (10/4/2012 11:55:06 PM)

I see that the anti Zimmerman folks who were claiming that Zimmerman wasn't injuered bad enough to justify the shooting are now saying that he was banged up too bad to have been able to shoot.
I know a guy who beat up four people in a bar fight when he was out on his feet and couldn't even remember the fight.

The point Vincent is that there wouldn't be any threads at all. No one would have said a word as he went off to jail. Right?

No we would have never heard about himnot being charged.

So if this was reverse and zimmerman was the 17 year old and Martin was an older black man? We'd have all these threads that the older black man was innocent?

And you would be defending the older black man.

I didn't say that did I? But from the post you gave I am assuming you'd be all for the younger zimmerman. My point proven exactly. Thanks

Bad assumtion I said I would be taking the same position, meaning I would be defending the older black guy.

Nothing. But NOTHING will ever top the Chuck Norris Brand Karate Pants. That was the high point of his career.

If your attorney tells you you're eligible for indigence after you inform him about the money and you don't know better, how are you lying by trusting the attorney?

Then if the attorney realizes the error, and his and his client's first response is to inform the court of the money, how is that trying to deceive the court?

Nope, still no reason to believe this was an attempt at deception.

tazzygirl -> RE: Update on Trayvon Martin case (10/5/2012 5:48:34 AM)

I could almost buy that.. except Z's family is also in law.

Z's family. Z hadn't even completed a bachelor's yet, and was in jail with limited contact with his family.

There's nothing in those jail calls I've seen to indicate anyone corrected Zimmerman on what he understood from his attorney.

tazzygirl -> RE: Update on Trayvon Martin case (10/5/2012 5:57:02 AM)

lol.... are you really going to try and tell me that his family was not in contact with his lawyer?

Please, do tell me you are not trying to get me to believe that one.

No, I didn't even say or imply that. We don't know what their conversations consisted of; we only have George's conversations.

And nothing in those conversations seem to include anything told to George to contradict what George said O'Mara told him.

tazzygirl -> RE: Update on Trayvon Martin case (10/5/2012 6:10:21 AM)

And you are assuming George is telling the truth in all this. Thats where you are going wrong.

You still havent explained to me what that block sphere could be other than Martin's head in that photo.

There are way too many holes in this story.

I'm making no such assumption. I'm pointing out there's no proof that he isn't.

A bulge in clothing, like the one in the other photo maybe. An artifact from being a poor quality photocopy.

We don't know, but it seems more probable that the arm looking thing extending from the shoulder looking thing is maybe an arm, absent a photo with, maybe, something more to see.

Yeah, there's a ton of them in the State's case.

Oh, what other photo of Trayvon is out there?

lol... thats no artifact.. and you dont need to blow it up in hopes of seeing it "better" like you did the arm that you have coming out of his hip

quote:

yet you had to "blow it up" to possibly be sure. Even your first initial reaction was his head was in the lower part of the photo. But, if you left it at that, then your theory wouldnt fit, and his arms would not be in the position the "witness" claimed it would be, but rather where the officar who did CPR said they were.

The only one seeing holes there is you.... conveniently to make your own case.
