Hilary has name recognition. Obama is too new to run. Interesting comment that technically the dems did win the past 2 elections.

Any dem is going to be painted the boogie man. Too liberal.

Anyway you look at it- there will be a shift to the left. But will it be far enuff?

[they] did not like Bill either.... thats as close as we come to gettting Bill back.

Chaste Im not gonna give you a quote from Hillary about guns, just look at her voting record and the bill she sponsored which were BLATANT anti-gun legislation bills. I view politicians by their voting record.

What voting record is that Maloch?

The office she currently holds, is the first time Senator Clinton has been in a position to cast any kind of vote at all. In that time, she has cast a grand total of one vote on legislation that had anything at all to do with gun control, and that was the vote on banning the unrestricted sale of "cop killer" ammunition, which had seventy-five percent support in the state that Senator Clinton was elected to represent.

There are enough real reasons to not support Senator Clinton, without making them up.

Hhaha "Cop Killer"  I like that, they make up all kinds of bullshit terms to pass bullshit legislation.
Yeah she doesnt vote on it the the attention whore co-sponsors all the anti-gun bills.  She will sign every gun law that comes along, and scream at Congress for more.

Or hey how about this:
I'm personally all for taxing guns to pay for health care coverage.

I live in Florida and I hope that the Demos continue to allow past elections to haunt them.  Several representatives of the liberal press came to Forida and re-counted the votes and never, repeat, never found a situation to give Gore a win.  As to the people who were thrown out, many of them were foreign nationals that got registered through the absurd "motor voter" rules.  Additionally, if those who still feel that the election was stolen by the type of voting materials that were used, please remember that the counties in Florida that were under all the pressure about voting problems were traditionally Democratic Counties, with Democrats as Supervisors of Elections.  The State actually warned them and tried to make them understand that the outdated machines they used could cause problems.  They chose to use what they had.  The "confusing" voter materials that people tried to claim caused them to misvote were developed by the Democratic Election Supervisors. I honestly find all the whining about the last two elections as funny, but before throwing out the party line of having been cheated, do yourself a favor and examine the reality for yourself, not the BS thrown around incorrectly.

Bill Clinton's oral fixation and his attempts to block the truth were okay with me.  Who really wants to get caught with (literally) their pants down.  Bill Clinton's lies under oath were something that should have caused him to be removed from office.  He taught several generations of Americans that an oath in court means nothing.  Would I tell the truth in court?  I dont really know now, but if I chose to lie I would possibly feel justified as I committed perjury.

So you are changing your story now ... saying she "will" vote for this or that. A minute ago, you were saying she "had" voted for them.

Dude, you are not even in the know enough to be accurate about what she has or hasn't voted for. You aren't even in the know enough to avoid saying things that aren't true. Why should anyone believe you have any clue as to what will happen in the future?

Question about your article. How is wanting a database of guns used in crimes, and sold illegally ... a gun control law? That doesn't make sense. Take out the word "gun", and insert the word "car." Do you have a problem with a registry of cars used in crimes or cars sold illegally? Would that be "car control legislation?" Would that eliminate anyone's legal access to cars?

See, that article is just like your posts here. It is taking a truth, and mixing it with lies, distortion and fear mongering. A person that does that is a distorted, fearful, liar.

Ok ... I'm done with this thread, before I say something to get myself banned.

As much as I hate Bush the fact is most Presidents, if not all, that get put under the microscope have little chance of not getting something attached to them that would/should get them removed from office.

Bush swore an oath to enforce the Constitution and laws of this country and most legal and Constitutional experts throughly believe he has broken both of those frequently but where are the hearings and impeachment talks. It is about politics. Which party controls which branch.

Clinton lied about personal things. Bush lies about government things. If it came down to honesty I would take the one more honest about on the job things. Unfortunately, no politician from either party can meet the expectations of the common citizen.

As a proud Bush basher, I have to say the Dems need to let Florida go and Ohio is also lame. Gore can only look at himself and see what went wrong. His fault.

When I get a chance, I will ask my son what a "neocon" is.  When he was young he played with Transformers and maybe he will know.  If Iraq was about oil, we didnt need to remove Sadam.  I would add you to the list of people who need to call the ACLU next time terrorists create a 911 situation.  "How dare those bastard terrorists attack us?" Sic 'em ACLU.

This was an interesting thread until it deteriorated into whining about the past and miserable attempts to compare blow jobs to heroic military casualties and name calling.  You best hope that no one on the list forwards your post to the FBI or Secret Service.  I think there might be a law about threats.

What I find amazing is that a country that has what is arguably, the best educated population in all of history could ever consider Hillary Clinton as a head of state...what has she done besides be married to Bill?

She is an empty shell who absorbs and regurgitates what her handlers tell her....you already have one of those in "dubya", why in god's name would you want another?

Thank you. Who woulda thought an assessment like that coulda come from Ontario?!!?  HAR!

Look.... here's what's true : The same demographics that have applied in many of the previous elections, will not be a factor if Hiliary succeeds in attaining the nomination. Why? Because men, altogether, will be taken out of the equation -- Plain and simple.... A very large majority of them, regardless of what party, will not vote for her - Take that to the bank.

She's way too polarizing and there are too many negative connotations attached to her. Her only option, if she were to secure the nomination, would be to run on policy alone.

But when running like that... you have to be able to garner a significant amount of trust from the electorate in order to succeed.  In Hiliary's case.... outside of certain liberal parts of the Northeast and California, a disproportionate amount of the voting bloc both loathes and distrusts her.

The key thing to always remember about these candidates : They all have skeleton's hidden in the closet. But in Hiliary's case..... the bones are still rattling.  ; }

You used the term "anti-gun legislation." I responded that she has only voted on one bill that had anything to do with "gun control."

The two bills in your link deal with lawsuits against manufacturers of guns, and child safety issue while transporting guns. Neither of those is an anti-gun issue, or a gun control issue.

I will make these staements then leave.  I will vote for Hilary for the fact that she at least has stances on certain policies, which is better than every other politician here.
As for a gun lock being a paperweight...  Moloch, (Expletive Delelted), it is only a paperweight if you don't use it.  If you use it then it can save children.  I say this having been an officer in the Military for 4 of my 6 years in.  I have had weapons training that most would never dream of and still support the idea of gun CONTROL.  Which, from what I have looked at from both yours and Caitlyn's links, is what Hilary has voted for.  Not Ani-Gun Legislation.  (It would also be nice if you could spell "daughter")
