Yeah, DS:

DYB may seem a controversial figure to you and all; personally, but he wouldn't put it out that you and TreasureKY are puttin the horns on old Firm while he's out of the house.

He ain't ignant like that there.

Seriously?!? You responded to a post that was in response to me, and I'm supposed to know you weren't talking about me? Huh.

And, Lucas County going Democrat? Show me where I ever stated the opposite. I never had any doubts as to how Lucas County was going to fall. None at all. I've lived here for long enough to know.

Screw in your new eyes, DS.

Well, at least you've manned up and admitted it, which is more than most of the conservatives predicting a Romney victory have managed so far.

(Presumably the op only intended to serve up that crow stuff to people who disagreed with him if the Kenyan lost, and anybody who voted for his candidate is excused the consequences the thread was meant to be set up for...)

I believe he and treasure will be on "vacation" for a few weeks.

Yep, and Moonhead was directing those comments to.....? Yep. Me.

Now, had DYB named those he was talking about, this wouldn't have happened.

So, if I reply to DYB when he says he's mad because I called Ohio, and I say something like , Oh he's always mad, that means I am fucking somebodies wife?

Please.   Try to live your life a little less frangibly if not less narcissistically.

And he did name them, implicitly.  OP---treasure.

I mean, sort of sound it out..

I  believe he and treasure will be on "vacation" for a few weeks.

what would treasure be in this vignette?  animal, vegetable or mineral?

Hows that go with whoever it was, Biden?

DYB speaks pretty good for a black guy (I will not comment on his toilet as I have never had occasion to be near him, but I will for arguments sake, consider that he is clean)

And if something isn't up, and treasure means something, it must be that you don't understand and that since he was speaking to moonhead, that you needn't cause yourself alarm by saying he was replying to you when clearly he wasn't.

First, it's Lucas County, and now it's Ohio? Damn, man. You can't even keep the story on one path. I didn't know how Ohio was going to fall. I had hoped it wouldn't go blue again. Lucas County, I knew was going to be blue.

Now, am I just mad that you called the election right?

What then? Am I just mad that ________ (fill in the blank)?

I'm not mad. I'm just not happy Obama got re-elected. I will continue to call him my President, as much as I didn't want to do that.

At no point in time did I ever say I was fucking somebodie's [sic] wife. Only you, mn, only you go there.

For the most part I've been on "vacation" for quite a few months now. I find the general tone of comments here in P&R to have become more or less... well, let's just say that due to some overriding (some might say loudmouthed) denigration by a select few posters on the liberal side, as a conservative I feel it is pointless to try to hold any meaningful conversation. Aside from that, I'm just too busy to spend time here commenting, though I do find a few moments here and there to read.

With regard to eating crow, you'll note that I did not post any predictions in this thread... so there was really no reason for me to post here otherwise. I've never alluded anywhere that I though Romney would win as I personally didn't think he would.

As far as Firm, he's extremely busy right now but I'm sure when he has time and feels like it, he'll be in to have his say. Meanwhile, feel free to make all the erroneous assumptions you want to about his intent, and disparaging remarks about how you believe he feels right now. I'm sure you'll all have a grand old time, as usual.

Well of course, Firm's intention of the thread was for civil, logical discourse.

The thread title conveys that most convincingly, no question.

Yes, he's so busy he posted on Monday clearly thinking he would be the one gloating today.

Perhaps, but I think it likely he was interested in bumping the thread back up to the front page just before the election. It had, after all, fallen far down the list since it hadn't been posted in for almost two weeks.

But like I said, have fun!

That's nice ... Hey anybody feel like partying after mopping the floor with these petty oligarchs?
I know I do.

I noticed someone from this forum made front page of their local newspaper.

1. Romney/Ryan in a close, but indisputable win. (Read a headline that both parties have already started lawyering up)
2. House stays R, and they may increase their majority.
3. Senate stays D, but barely.
If things play out the way I'm predicting, is it still going to be the House R's wasting time by not passing bills the Senate would pass?

Damn. 1 for 3.

I gave myself half-wins for #2 and #3 since the House and Senate indeed went to the parties predicted, but I was wrong that R's would pick up seats in both. From what I've seen, the House is less Republican and the Senate may turn out to be less Republican as well.

Bullshit ,the way I read that you went 0 for 3.
Anything other than that is just so much spin and bullshit.

Damm, you been here for 2,000 posts and you still can't figure out the boards....he didn't respond to you in any way shape or form.
"you responded in a post that was in response to me"...so how many posts removed from your post before it stops being about you.
What a putz.
