thats exactly what i didn't mean but I'm glad you caught on. When i say research both sides I mean research both sides not listen to one side feeding you facts about both sides because of course it will be bias

mnottertail -> RE: Obama endorsements (10/22/2012 10:07:35 AM)

If one side feeds me FACTS about both sides...............???WTF???  Uh.......somebody throw me in a frame of reference here.........

You see, if only one side is FACTUAL.........nope, can't do it, the conundrum is insoluable here.......................

Sure I have tazzy... in the 1956 Platform Republicans were all for scientific innovation and federal support... the Democrats in their platform also gave support to science but fought the Republicans in congress at every turn.

There was no Republican opposition to federal support for education and scientific innovation in any field. Thus things have changed. Although both parties supported the development of nuclear and green energy the Republicans were the party that pushed it through an opposing Democratic obstructionist congress…Sound familiar today but with opposite parties.

My first recollection of a President was Eisenhower and all through his presidency he pushed the development of science and industry in ways the Republican party today would oppose.

You are right of course on how the parties have changed. Just reading the platforms with the party headers covered you would not know for sure which party’s platform you were reading.

He is saying the same thing he did 4 years ago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LFW0kma5ek

During the debate he talked about visiting a school in vegas where they had 10 year old books and didn't have enough sources to teach the students properly. I am curious why he would bring that up when he had 4 years to do something about education. He proves in his own words that his policies are not working

I doubt that is going to change the New Yorkers minds, why dont you try them, cos it didnt change mine either
rant on Chumly

But wait Lucy... It proves something important. It proves that the New Yorker gives equal time to the extreme right. NY will be DEEP BLUE in two weeks when the map becomes official.
  And our friend Stern Skipper told me that he is going to be up in NH volunteering for the next two weeks painting in the blue on the granite state. Go get em Stern!
  All these bloggers and journalists can point to whatever they want. The states to watch are Ohio, NH, and Wisconsin.

Im looking forward to tonite... polls are all over the place now, the swing states are the most interesting, aye:)
I have to admit, I was not too sure about the NY, cept I agree with the endorsement for the reasons explained:)

And those changes occurred about the time of Kennedy.

I dont implicitly trust any party to do what their platform says they will do. I weight what they can aganst the probability of them actually being able to do so.

What I am seeing Romney say isnt coming up to snuff with what I believe is possible.

12 million jobs? A long laundry list of things he will do on his first day? Even he admitted trickle down doesnt work... he just admitted it didnt work in the government setting. I cant trust a man who believes, after all these decades, that he believes we will still swallow the old tale that it will work in the private sector.

NO, it proves that there is an obstructionist teabagging house.

Thanks for pointing out the flaw. Let me waltz you thru this.  The policy would be to improve education.  It is a very doable policy.  If it is not being improved, someone is not helping to do that.   Who? Who is cutting funding and education, fucking teachers and so on?

That would be teabaggers.

"Caught on"????? Hon, I get paid well to do research for one of the best political science departments in the country. There were more than 900 applicants for the JOB I not only GOT, but retained for 3 years.
   You sir, have presented utter evidential garbage from HIGHLY biased sourcing and are claiming some kind of unbiased high ground. And the other posters have called you on it. Nice 8th post.
   And make sure you pen that apology to Lucy.

I can't help but thinking that this not actually help Obama. After all the average American, who distrusts people of intelligence, will just feel like this is all the more reason to vote against Obama. (I could have said "vote for Romney", but I still have a hard time processing how anyone would actually vote for Romney.)

But am I surprised that intelligent people support Obama. Not at all....

It doesn't require much intelligence to process this:

Obama = Socialist State
Romney = Democratic Republic

Thank you for proving exactly my point.....[&:]

It would have been wonderful if all Presidents kept all their promises. I think expecting that much is someone living in a fantasy world.

Only the gullible would...there sure are a lot of gullible people today.

What both candidates are saying is beyond the possibility of reality...that never changes. Lets hope one day we will get a tell it like it is leader with a party backing him that puts the people in front of party. Wishful thinking though...they most likely would not get elected.

Yes people who bought into it were living a fantasy world. Plain and simple... Why say it if your not gonna stand for it. This was uncut direct speech of 7 unnecessary lies in a row.

So you think that the Jobs bill the republicans blocked that would have hired teachers, police, and recue workers was bad. Good... would you like instructions on how to Re-call your local republican member of congress.
  You really need to rewind, apologize to a few people and quit thinking you can talk down to people.
