If you want the horror version of fairy tales, you should check out Grimm, now in its second season.

One of my favorite movies when I was little was called Song of the South. Also known as Uncle Remus. Don't know who made it, but it was banned due to severe rascism. Zip-a-dee-do-dah was one of the best songs.

TOTALLY agree:) hehehhe cool
Have you caught Once upon a Time ????
IM utterly enjoying that
Robert Carlyle in leather pants, yum and the evil queen is crushworthy
I still sing zipadee do da..I think it was a disney wasnt it???
I know I saw it in the UK as a nipper

Oh gawd, I totally LOVE Robert Carlyle. And you are right, he does know how to rock a pair of leather pants. And he doesn't look too bad in a suit either, dearie!

I find it interesting that he seems to be the only one from The Full Monty to have done anything, at least in North
America.

I am impressed with the match they did with the child Snow, and Gennifer Goodwin. Freaky!! And Lana Paradis is swoon worthy. I prefer her with long hair done up fancy than with a bob.

My little girl loves Once Upon A Time, my boy hates its, so we are still at last Aprils episodes.

As for Grimm, both my kids hate it.

I adore Disney.. always have. My favourites are Alice in Wonderland and Snow White.

I much prefer the original style of hand drawn animation. I've been known to be called a "Disney Snob."

Big Bad Kana likes Disney just fine. In fact he ponied up big bucks to see Fantasia at the IMAX a few years back. It was bloody awesome, too

He even took me to a orchestral version of the music from Fantasia. It was a lot of fun!

*laughs* I'm not too hardcore for Disney. Jesus, you're talking to the guy who cries at every romantic moment in a movie. "Dark and dangerous" just isn't me. Heck, when someone once called me a "Disney Dom" in a pejorative sense I took up that banner whole-heartedly. I just don't like the company itself.

Insofar as your understanding of international IP law, you need some education. Look up PIPA and SOPA for starters since those are pretty recent. By the way, this isn't some unreasoned hysterical response on my part. Or, if it is, my brother who is actually a bar certified lawyer agrees with me. Disney is about as pure and innocent as Monsanto or Walmart.

We celebrated my 55th birthday the other night (in part) by watching Disney films, and lamenting that I don't have enough Disney in my DVD library. So I'm thinking the answer to the question in the thread title is "no." So far, anyway.

Thank you on both counts! Poise is responsible for it (the avatar, that is.) She's a genius, isn't she? And a really nice person to do it for me, too. All hail Poise!

I had the Disney records too, and wore them out as a kid! I am still known to bust out into a Disney song for little or no reason at all. Disney songs bring the happy.

I remember watching that when I was younger,

Nathan lane was Timon :) and of course Rowan atkinson as zazu

Thank you, I get the names mixed up with the characters.

But at least you knew what I meant.

And thank you for the thread...........it gave me smiles.
