I've decided that there is very little chance of having a civil conversation with many of them. Liberals I can stand. I can even have a good time with them. Statist progressives are a lost cause.

2) All 7,8 or 9(who knows how many there were) Republican candidates at their parties debates,when asked whether or not they would turn down a compromise that offered 10 dollars in spending cuts for 1 dollar in tax raises....all raised their hands.

I'm not here to promote or defend the political beliefs of Tea Partiers. I'll leave them to do so for themselves.

I would question the wisdom of using "they did it first" as an excuse.
