How did I do it? I didn't know he existed until he read my complete profile and journal entries and then wrote me.

I would say that his sending letters to women who interested him, and his persistence in writing to me even when I tried to gently give him the brush off because I considered him long distance...these are the things that really made a difference.

Basically, he chased me until I caught him.
