Just what site are you at ?

Remember when you asked if you were reading it right ?
well you aren't
It's either that or I am reading it wrong...and the last time I was wrong the '69 Mets won the world series.

The map I get (and I've reloaded a few times now) has Obama 253 to Romney 285.

Did you check out the election simulations ?
They ran over 10.000 computer simulations of the election....check the results
The map thing is curious to say the least.
One of us is doing something wrong [8|]

So then we can put you down for denial of even the possibility, Mike?

Soup of the day on Wednesday, November 7 - angry liberal tears. Sounds yummy!

DaddySatyr -> RE: How will the left react, if Obama loses? (11/1/2012 7:46:10 PM)

I said, months ago, that we'd be needing some crying towels for the PPLs on the left. I recommend an off-red ... you know; pink?

Peace and comfort,

Michael

the page you cited gives Dems a 79% chance of reaching 270 and only 20% for the Rs.

I'm imagining the reactions when they realize they are so dysfunctional in their grief, that they grabbed the wrong towel next to their computers, and try to dry their eyes with the crusty one. [8|]

I might take you up on that offer. [;)] As a non-American, I'd be most scared of a weak man who can only recover some popularity by kicking off some bloody great pointless war that drags half the world, and GB in particular, into it.

Actually, Rush made a damn good comment that I can see happening. He said we won't know on Tuesday who the President will be next year. Both sides will likely contest votes, states, etc., and could make knowing who the President will be up to 2 weeks post-election.

The losing side will hurl insults and accusations of voter fraud (racism allegations additionally, if Obama loses).

The media will begin their full frontal assault of Romney/Ryan, if Obama loses, and the 2014 mid-term races will begin asap.

LOL... thats what I see. Beyond that, Obama with 201 and Romney with 191, 146 Undecided.

DarkSteven -> RE: How will the left react, if Obama loses? (11/1/2012 8:06:06 PM)

That depends on how he loses. If there are indications of voter fraud, it will not go over well. I'd expect a court challenge.

If it appears to be that Romney got 2% - 3% more than anticipated nationwide, that'd be one thing. But if the Ohio and Virginia results varied seriously from the polls and everywhere else tracked to the polls, expect ugliness.

I wont back racial accusations. I do believe many hold those feelings, but I dont think it will affect the election to that extent.

However...

Will "experimental" software patches affect the Ohio vote?

by Bob Fitrakis and Gerry Bello

October 31, 2012

Why did the Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted's office, in an end run around Ohio election law, have "experimental" software patches installed on vote counting tabulators in up to 39 Ohio counties? Voting rights activists are concerned that these uncertified and untested software patches may alter the election results.

During the 2004 presidential election, the Free Press reported that election officials observed technicians from the ES&S voting machine company and Triad computer maintenance company installing uncertified and untested software patches on voting machines in 44 Ohio counties prior to the election. Software patches are usually installed to "update" or change existing software. These software patch updates were considered suspect by election protection activists, in light of all the voting machine anomalies found during the 2004 election in Ohio.

The Free Press has learned that Election Systems and Solutions (ES&S) installed the software patches that will affect 4,041,056 registered voters, including those in metropolitan Columbus and Cleveland.

A call to the Ohio Secretary of State's office concerning the software patches was not returned by publication deadline.

Regardless of the outcome, I predict the outcome will be hotly contested on many grounds.

Im still withholding judgement on this... no one has cooberated the allegation yet.

You hold on to your towels.
You can use them as napkins during your crow entree .
I understand Tabasco sauce adds a little something to what can be a bland dish [:D]

Besides an on-air stroke from Chris Mathews, that would have me tuning in to MSNBC for extra lolz, what reaction can be expected from the libs/left, if the President is soundly and unquestionably fired by the American people next Tuesday?

Man, WTF, why would you wish that somebody got a stroke and laugh at them over it? That's terrible. Especially a nice guy like that. (I used to work at the pharmacy he goes to, so I met him a few times, and he was always very nice and not at all like some of the rich entitled assholes that shopped there.)

Beyond that, I'm sure that - if - Romney wins, Obama's supporters will be upset and complain and say "I didn't vote for him, he doesn't represent me, he's going to be terrible", just like everybody on the losing side in every election in my memory.

JanahX -> RE: How will the left react, if Obama loses? (11/1/2012 8:30:31 PM)

Fast reply - Ill just start laughing when the market crashes again, unemployment doesnt change, and people start losing their houses again. Ill especially enjoy seeing the national debt skyrocket to the point where we can't repay China and we'll default. Just watch... Its all gonna happen. Why? can you say George W. Bush' old advisors? Good god I bet those fucks are just chomping at the bit readying themselves to go nuts in the candy store again.
