The 7,000 Teamsters accepted the new contract... so I guess you think they are getting a golden parachute too huh???

So how is rejecting a new contract and closing the company going to help the 18,500 people out of work today?

Here's the simple fact... They were not getting a better collective bargaining deal. Now they have even less.

Cuz we used to have to bike or walk to the store to get the fuckin things, (I was that toxic blueberry pie kinda guy) instead of mom driving us to get them or bringing them to us while we texted and played call of duty.

And do chores to get the nickle or 10 cents to get them, they went to like a quarter, and I fuckin near died...

I know i walked everywhere. We used to roam the streat like a pack of wild dogs. Looking for something fun to do. We would end up 6 or 7 miles down the road somewhere.

I had to walk to school 12 miles uphill both ways

Court denies bonuses.

Bankruptcy is on hold. Judge sends them back to the negotiating table.

I guess the Judge has a low tolerance for Executive Bullshit.

So does this forum.

If I recall, he told the Union to go back and negotiate....not HQ.

Once again your recollection is shown to be flawed.

We were so poor that if I didn't wake up with morning wood on Christmas morning, I wasn't gonna have anything to play with.

Well, it's nice to see that a thread about almost 20,000 people losing their jobs has degenerated into the left's bad Rodney Dangerfield lines and "Lies our parents told us" quips. It's just what you'd expect from the party of the enslavers. Kudos!

Merry Christmas,

Michael

Actually, those were my Old Man's lines and if he heard you call him "From the left" he would get off the bed, use one hand to make sure his heart surgery incision didn't reopen and bitch slap you with the other one.

Merry fucking Christmas.

ETA. You're starting to sound like our friend from Idaho. Anyone who disagreed with him was a "leftist" Have you considered that maybe sometimes it's not a Right and Left thing, It's a Facts or Falsehood thing?

Those lines were old when Michael Palin was born.

Very likely. It's still one of the better Python skits, though.

And it's done...

Judge Approves Hostess Liquidation

Most (though not all) of the liberals posting here are as happy as HAMAS agents passing out candy after a bus bombing and praising this strike as a victory for American Labor.

Amazing...

Amazing, that so many 'conservatives' are as happy as nazis to cravenly and servilely defend a buisness no matter how toxic the product, no matter how much it has been raped and ran under the ineptnest and criminalist of management and no matter how horseshit the business plan and resulting finances are and hold it out as a beacon of American 'conservatism' while lying thru their teeth about the issues, having no facts per usual.

According to bankruptcy judge (who have masters that go thru the numbers) they ain't anymore viable than a teabagger like West.

Now, who do I believe, accountants, analysts, or some ideological pudpounders who can't quite come up with credible facts, just blogs and misinformation?

One of those ideas is as bankrupt as that toxic wastedump going down the tubes.

I am going to repeat this, because it bears repeating, even crackwhores won't suck a dick for less than $2 no matter what their rightwing addictor tells them.

The same fat cats that were always there, it was never meant to include anyone else, let alone the 18.5K.  That was a given at the outset.
