I truly didnt think many would... sounded like a great threat... but reality is people need their jobs.

Unless you are a Hostess baker... they evidently don't

Why are you such a tool ?

Feel better now?

In reality people DO NEED their jobs.

Hostess Teamsters and non Union workers needed theirs too! It's something you seem to care nothing about.

Wal Mart workers have constantly defeated attempts to unionize.

Wal Mart is a great place to shop, their employees are friendly and they have great products, prices and service.

Really....?
I don't know where to start. It is truly amazing that you managed to fit so much bullshit into such a pithy little post.
I'm just going to assume that as I read along others have called you on your bullshit Walmart worship....certainly this idiotic post (the post contains idiotic statements(as opposed to the poster being an idiot...I would rather there not be any mistakes about by meaning ) inspired some response ;-)

Got any idea what kind of subsidies the State of California puts up for illegal immigrants, Lucy? If you did, you wouldn't be nearly so impressed with your pic from Facebook.

$86 million? That's less than what LA County spends in a couple months on welfare to the undocumented. That's one county.

So it's OK to save a few mil by defunding Planned parenthood or PBS because that's important to balance the budget but it's not OK to save a few Mil by ceasing the taxpayer funded subsidies to Wal Mart's bottom line?

Can you see the blatantly partisan hypocricy?

Saying 88 Mil isn't worth the trouble to save is like a couple who is in debt up to their ears continuing to eat Filet Mignon and lobster instead of pasta because "Fuck it, it's only a hundred bucks"

My question is this.

"Why is it possible for anyone except the OP or a Mod to change a thread title?"

I mean all that does is call in the trolls from far and wide.

Why not make the minimum wage $50 an hour or $100 an hour? Then everybody would be rich! YAY! And pay high high taxes so governments can use money the best way, that they decide of course! YAY for stupid "economics!"

Perhaps you were unaware that california is the tenth largest economy on the planet.

Reasonable, rational people think, "you know, when the left sees their crazy policies fail every time, they will learn." But that isn't how it works. The left just doubles, triples, and quadruples down on stupid. Of course, that makes the problem even worse. But you never have to say you are sorry if you are a leftist. You just say you are for women and birth control, you are for "choice" (you know, smashing the heads of partially born babies),

Perhaps you could cite for us just when this happens?
If you cannot then your post would be a blatant lie...something that I find most common in your posts.

quote:

but you are AGAINST choice when it comes to schools (too much chaos in doing that!), and of course the "rich" (that means anybody with any income) has to pay MORE because everybody knows government knows how to spend your money better than you do.

Well we are still in the sand box at mega bux a day

quote:

Face it, leftists are not rational, they find being logical "constricting" so it is impossible to work with them. Compromise to them is YOU give up. But it's for the children!

Once again your post is somewhat less than factual

I say go go go California! Sooner or later businesses will move out even faster. See, socialism looks so pretty on paper, doesn't it? Well, not to me, but to some people. Until it kicks in. I've written off that socialist state.

You mean you have written off the tenth largest economy on the planet? Why???

quote:

And if you don't want to work for walmart, hey here's an idea. QUIT. Find another job. Better yet, open up a competitor, pay your employees $50 and hour with benefits out the ying yang and surely that will put walmart out of business! Once again, ever notice the people demanding things from companies never could run one themselves? Just like their hero o'dimbulb. He's never run a lemonade stand. He is running America.. into the ground. Which is their plan, by the way.

Would you happen to have any validation for this moronic drivel?

Again, though. When I change someone's writing in a quote and add "Fixed it for ya" I get threatened with a Mod Assisted vacation.
Why should people be able to change the title of someone's thread?

I think that is something Admin may be looking at.

I have done that a couple of times and not gotten any notice from anyone.. but I dont say anything that violates the rules (cuz I is a good girl.. )

eta- I dont think the Mods or Admin can change that, since if they tried to then we wouldnt be able to trim our quoted posts... Its not the changing someones writing thats the problem, as i see it, its people that violate the rules.. which they would do regardless anyway..

I didn't say that either. I believe the issue of completely inflammatory thread titles is under review as well.

It's also easy enough to change the thread title back, if you pay attention when replying. I've done that more than twice, back when the mods weren't looking at the issue.

Playing directly with someone's posted words? That's a much bigger violation, in my opinion.

I'll put them equal.

Thread titles are posted words are they not? In fact, they have a much higher visibility so an argument could be made that changing the title is more egregious..
