tazzygirl -> Presidential bids... 2016. (12/5/2012 11:31:32 AM)

Is the race already over?

Well, since there is nothing possible in the republican assclowns, if she still breathes, she owns it.

tazzygirl -> RE: Presidential bids... 2016. (12/5/2012 11:44:17 AM)

All the polls agree with you. I will be curious to see who they find to run against her.

DaNewAgeViking -> RE: Presidential bids... 2016. (12/5/2012 12:45:40 PM)

One can only hope she does run. With numbers like that, helped along no doubt by a substantially improved economy by '16, and seeing the sort of Looney-Tunes candidate the Radicals will put up, we are assured of another four years of non-fanatical leadership. Better - it will accelerate the death-spiral of the GOP. What's not to love (for any honest, patriotic non-sociopath)?

Am I the only one who thinks that, maybe, the GOP will actually try to find someone more moderate and... sane... this time around as a result of the potential of her running?

SilverMark -> RE: Presidential bids... 2016. (12/5/2012 12:49:22 PM)

Tazzy, how would someone moderate and sane get past the Republican primary?....

Wishful thinking unfortunately.

That is their only hope. And then it will still be an uphill battle.

If they can have their dreams... reference to keeping the electoral college at home... than so can I [;)]

SilverMark -> RE: Presidential bids... 2016. (12/5/2012 1:11:36 PM)

Personally, I think we would have seen "Moderate Mitt" right off the bat, but he had to move right to win the primary.
When you add such wack jobs to the mix as Santorum, Bachman, and Cain, Romney ends up having to appeal to the base.
In the primary, the nuts seem to outnumber the moderates by a HUGE margin, and they do vote, much to the detriment of
the party itself.

DarkSteven -> RE: Presidential bids... 2016. (12/5/2012 1:12:44 PM)

The major issue with her running is that she's consistently denied she'll run.

Will Bachmann still have her seat in four years?
(Maybe she could have the ex Pussycat Doll who was on I'm A Celebrity... as her veep running mate.)

I dont see that as an issue. Especially in light of that video.

I would hope instead of some milk toast moderate we will nominate a conservative who can actually articulate a conservative platform. We just lost 2 times in a row with a moderate. A moderate isn't going to beat Hillery.

I wouldn't count on an improved economy.

Which moderates were those, then?
I've heard a lot of descriptions applied to Sorebutt McCain and Captain Magicpants, but "moderate" isn't one of them (at least, in the former case, since the chimp demonstrated that their party would much rather a dimwitted libertarian than a moderate or a conservative...)

lovmuffin -> RE: Presidential bids... 2016. (12/5/2012 2:05:37 PM)

I don't think you guys are going to figure it out until we have a total global economic collapse. Even then I think many will just blame it on Bush.

Level -> RE: Presidential bids... 2016. (12/5/2012 2:17:12 PM)

Colin Powell could beat her, if he'd run, but that's doubtful.

I like Hillary more now than when she was first lady.

mnottertail -> RE: Presidential bids... 2016. (12/5/2012 2:18:06 PM)

Bush is so 00's.  We are now looking at the republican house as the fiscal disaster makers, they got us into it, whined when out, and haven't done anything but felch each other while in office, these many years.
