Good to see so many other refugees from the stifling political correctness of FetLife. It used to be a good social networking site until the PCs started to develop it along their own narrow paths.

They've certainlly lost me!

Jon, in FL there are a gang of feminist/liberals that go around protesting and whinging to the CTs about anyone who makes posts that doesn't abide their feminist/liberal lunacy. They tell their friends to all protest about a certain person, that way, the CTs blindly consider it without researching the facts.

I like fetlife,but here's the thing ...I never,ever could warm up to there discussion pages.
The set-up just never worked for me...so while I have used it as a social networking site...I have never really been able to discuss anything there.
For me this is the end all and be all of Political discussions furom....besides all me friends are here....and even some that hate me lol

Nick: Yes, I worked that out too. A handful of lefty whingers decide they don't like a specific poster so they run 'team -handed' to the Caretakers whining and squealing like daft wee lassies, and before you can say 'fuck me deid, granny' you're out on your ear.
It didn't used to be that way, but the Yanks are particularly sensitive to any questions of race, religion or displays of 'conservative' thought.
I never was accused of being 'conservative' until I started disagreeing with the daffy loony tunes crowd on FetLife.

FL sucks for meeting people. That's all I can say... it just sucks! So "clique-ish" and not at all friendly to new people. It's been overrun by FSoG wanna-be bullshit. The only thing it's good for, as far as I'm concerned, is postings on local events.

The CTs are the Caretakers, a small band of puritanical duds on FetLife who decide what is acceptable in terms of topic and personal expression, even when they don't have a clue what we're discussing.

FL has its place. It's good for keeping in touch with people who have a specific area of interest or knowledge. It's not designed to be a pickup joint like CM and people there aren't already burned out from getting 200 one-sentence messages daily. Different tools different jobs.

I found FL handy for my last pickup, but I already knew many of the rest and can still keep in touch with them elsewhere.
The biggest challenge is discussion of politics and religion there when you come up against radical idiots of one stripe or another.
Best keep it to kinky pickups.

I had an invite to meet 4-5 folks who were having an impromptu get together last night but I was already showered and naked (they said even better LOL), 2 ladies visited me in the office today to say hi, a bunch of us are going bowling tomorrow, got a munch saturday and a certain masochist is flying in from cali next weekend.
