There are a few women who look sexy with bald heads.  It has to do with their facial structure, in my opinion.  Me... I'd look horrific with a shaved head.  With my facial struction, I would never have my hair shorter than my chin.  It'd look horrible.

I love having short hair after a few years of having very long (and unmanageable ) hair however shaving my head as punishment would definitely be a hard limit. I think part of the beauty of women with shaved heads that I have known is their pride and almost regal bearing and I think I would be more likely to hang my head in shame if I knew that the reason I was bald was because of a punishment.

Ohhh a topic VERY close to my own heart.

My ultimate fetish/kink is "forced" haircutting. As a punishment it definitely seems harsh, however as an agreed role play scene it truly rocks my world.

Funny thing is tho... I defintely pefer longer hair, even on men. You MUST be able to get a hold of his hair to pull....... and as for my own - its nearly waistlength and still isnt long enough for me.

Thank you all for your responses.  I guess my original post was of interest.  I must state that I would never shave a head without permission but bald women are so darn gorgeous.

As long as I could wear a wig so it wouldn't affect my professional envrionment, then it's not a problem.

In fact, it's very practical, and nice for the hot weather.

I don't consider it much of an effective punishment in general, but if it works for them.

As a Domme who has had  both long and shaved hair, I think that shaving your head should never be a punishment.
I am all for it as an ownership gesture, as a fetish, whatever, but as a punishment, its not cool... particularly if the submissive was not into it... or objected to it in any way.

particularly on a woman shaved heads tend to mean you are socially targeted, and thats not something I would wish upon anyone as a punishment or otherwise.

yea, and then they have all the funny bylines, uh oh chaining the body frees the soul or whatnot, but shaving the hair, that's criminal. maybe if they're lucky some real master will bother with them, allow them to learn true humility and subservience. then again, it's unlikely anyone competent could be bothered with the ilk.

i feel like i've fallen in the highschool barrel and somehow bdsm is the new emo.

Right now, I consider my hair, at waist-length, to be too short for my tastes.

As for shaving my head, if it was done to me as punishment (or even threatened), it would terrify me. I won't even trust a stylist to give me a trim, haha. Having a shaved head would put my job at stake for professional appearance reasons, so that would be a punishment that would effect my life so badly it would be catastrophic. I would lose my income as punishment as well, in addition to feeling like I wasn't going to look like myself for another eight years or more. Since I have a naturally peculiar shade of red hair, too, getting a wig wouldn't cut it- it still wouldn't be me the way I am.

If the premise of the punishment was to make me hate myself for nearly a decade, then I would prefer to be released from ownership- I could get over that hurt faster.

I agree with most on here that having a shaved head as a punishment is beyond my comprehension.  Punishment of me is something that is kept straight and to the point.  He lets the punishment fit the crime, so to speak, and then it isn't spoken of again.  Clean slate, forgotten forever.  Besides, Daddy loves pulling my red hair and that's just not something that can be done when one is bald.  [:D]

While not a hard rule, I personally prefer my slave's head to be shaved save for a topknot wherever possible. I like for them to look in the mirror and be reminded of me. If it interferes with their occupation, I refrain from it, and a slave who comes to me with a long head of hair will likely get to keep it, because I know what trauma it causes others.
I have been shaving my own for a very, very long time, and when a close friend's son committed suicide, I cut my long topknot at the scalp, gave her my hair at the wake, and went bald for a year in mourning.
For myself, a greater punishment would be being forced to grow hair.
I shave it because I loathe the sensation of hair growing from my scalp. As a child, I would pick sores on my scalp from it. My scalp feels as if my hair is constantly being pulled once the hair gets to about an inch in length, and I feel utterly filthy, unable to get clean no matter how I wash myself.
