I am not a photographer, but if I was I'd be sure that every photo taken by me that I allowed to be shown publicly would be my very best work, as a point of pride. Kinda like a manicurist with dirty fingernails when they don't - wasted advertising. It's only going to make people doubt the veracity of their claims of expertise.

So I'm not too worried about it. I don't take professional pictures every time I want a snap shot of muhself!

Most of the young, beautiful women aren't Dommes at all. They're just a bunch of women that figured out that the numbers imbalance means that there are some very desperate men who are willing to pay/give gifts to someone that acts like a bitchy twat.

I've been kicking round the fetish scene forever, all over America. I have never, as in ever, seen a single live scene where there are more Domme females than submissive's (it's just not the way most women are wired. Sorry, but that's the truth as I've experienced it)but online the numbers are almost reversed, and getting more so by the day.
Hell, I've watched the shift in the years I've been on here. There used to be lots more sub women than tops on here, but that's been dramatically changing in recent years.
Why?
I believe Oside gal may just have provided the answer.

I mean shit, call me crazy, but I have this irrational old fashioned idea that before one can be a dominant, they should first (Rule number one in the One Twue Doms handbook) have a clue, and secondly, have done something, even one teeny tiny little thing to be worthy of the title.

No I know you're not here looking for photography clients, but it doesn't mean that someone who was considering you won't come across you here. Maybe I'm just a perfectionist, but if I were a pro photographer I'd want all my public photos to show that professionalism. I guess for me it would be worth making the effort for a profile photo, at least once. I'm sure you must have some good quality self portraits from when you've been practicing with lighting and exposure?

Anyway, sorry, not a criticism, just happens that you're about the fourth person I've seen this month who says they are a professional but only has mirror shots. It really surprises me.

I'm 23, and I can't stand profiles written like hers. Really, we're this young and deserve to be handed the world on a silver platter? That sounds all lovely and whatnot and what have you, but really? Come on now. EARN the respect and actually work for your living before trying to say you DESERVE it. I've met Dommes on here who could snap their fingers and have money pouring in, but they aren't going to do that because they haven't EARNED it by doing anything. Want to be a pro-domme? Good for you. But you still need to work for it. Nothing in life comes for free, and if it does remember "if it seems to good to be true, it is"

My experience has been that many people on these sites that say they are "professional" photographers, they mean they have taken pictures on their iphone and then just did some photoshopping and others asked them to do that for their photo.

Be you, but learn as you go. Nothing wrong with taking advice to older more experienced Domme. Kudos to you for rolling with the punches.

Yes you make a good point, I wasn't thinking of that. Sounds like pro photos + snapshot = win
