Query-why is it acceptable to bash men on here but its verboten to say nary a word against a gal? Can't you see the double standard?

A) Both fetisheden and THESCANDALOUS1 are findommes. Both make a habit of putting men down. It's not that surprising to see male bashing in their posts.
B) Society as a whole doesn't protect males in the way females are protected. It's always perfectly acceptable to say "men are pigs".

And again, why does either of those excuses make it acceptable. Not to mention that such comments are obviously implicitly condoned, not just by general consensus of the unwashed masses (by which I mean the vast majority of CM forum regulars, myself included)who fail to deride such hatred, but also the powers that be.

I see the double standard and it's not acceptable in my eyes. Nobody should be tossing around insults just to toss around insults.

I'm a finDomme and I do not make a habit of putting down a man just because he's a man. Put-downs are reserved for those that are mine and crave these kinds of relationships, even then they (insults and putdowns) have their place.

Also, I just want to say that in my opinion, subs are not worthless pigs. Without submissives there can be no dominants.

The worthless pig speech is all about giving out a fantasy. Of course there are worthless pigs (men who want to be treated with disdain and insults). The problem here is, a lot of these women who play the 'fin Domme' game think that every male sub has this fantasy but 'shushhhh' don't tell them!! its they who are missing out on all the other types of submissive males!
I spent years working as a pro Domme. I had a fully fledged dungeon and my own co-operative. I had clients who came to me who wanted to be downtrodden and insulted, laughed at and ridiculed. Could I do that? sure I could. His cash was as good as the next mans. A good pro Domme is well educated in the art of domination. She is an actress who can play many parts, a chameleon if you like.
Did I dominate away from being a pro Domme? sure I did but I did it my way with the things I enjoyed doing. Pro Domming was a job and having a permanent submissive was a hobby.

I really don't know why women worry about what other people think. You don't have to justify what you do.
I have been called a prostitute many times in the past but it never bothered me. I knew what I was and what I would and wouldn't do. Why try explaining to a bigot that until you are blue in the face?
That last woman that 'yawned' is always commenting on these threads. It just shows me that it bothers her and I find that rather sad.

FinDommeXtina -> RE: What's the big deal about FinDoms? (12/27/2012 5:36:56 PM)

Think about it like this.

Our profiles are our ads. We have to say the right thing in order to grab the attention of the audience we are reaching for. If I put something like "loves soft teddy bears and moonlit walks", I wouldn't come off very ruthless would I? No, despite the fact I do love soft teddy bears and moonlit walks, that is not my darkest dirtiest kink that I am trying to attract.

Am I really a cold hearted bish just looking to line my pockets with naive grown men's cash? Okay yes, some of the time. But most of the time I am looking for men to put into girls clothes or tease a cuckhold. That's MY kink. Now... I can do that all I want with a number of people on this site and not receive much gratification because they... Chicken out. Turn out to be false profiles. Or simply never had the intention of ever playing out a fantasy with me.

When one of these submissive males sees a dollar sign or the words Financial Domination, it sends a message that I mean business and to not waste my time. Also there is much more of a guarantee of a submissive approaching me and very much wanting to discover his limits with complete sincerity. I won't use smoke and mirrors to say this is a somewhat lazy (although effective) approach. Somehow, I believe being financially dominated as a submissive male is validation. They are empowered to be able to Tribute their Mistresses and have some insurance their Goddess of choice stays interested and vested in them. How repetitive most kinks become anymore, in my opinion, that a simple exchange of tributes can shine a new light on and invest each person further into a relationship.

I love the finer things of life. But I am not the type of person to work 50 hours a week to afford these things. I guess it does sound selfish that I would prefer my submissives to assist in making my life more comfortable. No one is truly forcing them to. They do it for themselves and in turn for me. I get very much turned off by the ultra greedy girls who do ignore their top tributers and I am personally not like that. I want to develop a relationship with each of my slaves. I adore them because if it wasn't for them I would not have some of the nice things I do have. And in return, they might not have such an invested and PERSONAL relationship with an online Domme.

I understand every side, but to judge every FinDomme as a cold hearted scammer bish is to assume every Dominant is a sadist and only wants to see you suffer for his/her own sick pleasure. Yes okay there is an underlying truth to that but that's not ALL there is.

Bittenkiss -> RE: What's the big deal about FinDoms? (12/29/2012 7:17:56 PM)

all very interesting but...

to weed out the fake subs, you could insist they pay an amount to charity instead and make sure you get the proof (there are several charity sites about, you set up an account as a fundraiser and they donate to your chosen cause, simple. You get to see they pay, they get to see you're not a cash-and-dash merchant).

For the real findommes, you know its really in your own interests to see the scammers off, they give everyone a bad name, so much so I see the police have created an account inviting people who have been defrauded to come forward! (at leats I hope its the police and not a scammer :) )

No, BDSM has not become lost. It is communication between people that has become lost. People are so self involved with their gadgets that they have lost social skills.

...

I give someone my phone number and they only want to text? Nah, I am going to bother.

Madam, I'm chippered as crumpets to see your post, you're quite right - too much TV, internet and mobiles for today's youth, its no good for them.

The worthless pig speech is all about giving out a fantasy.

You know... I knew my wording was sloppy when I wrote that but I didn't slow down to fix it. I never was dumb enough to think that the vast majority of these women actually thought that stuff. But if you immerse yourself in speech and thought patterns then they will slip out from time to time. Hence my statement...

"both make a habit of putting men down" (eg: their fantasy space)
ergo
"it's not that surprising to see male bashing in their posts" (eg: seepage from the fantasy space to real life)

Dude, if you mean an account here on CM, it's a scam.

The police dont work that way

Bittenkiss -> RE: What's the big deal about FinDoms? (12/30/2012 1:41:58 AM)

Of course I figure that too, it must be a scammer, why would the police (the id is tvpfraudsquad) do this. But then I can't think why a scammer would do it either. I must admit it doesn't make much sense to me.

AthenaSurrenders -> RE: What's the big deal about FinDoms? (12/30/2012 3:40:18 AM)

I imagine it will be some variation of 'I need your credit card details in order to check the account the money was taken from' or 'there will be an upfront fee of £x to get your money back'

Edit now that I've looked at the profile in question: It's in fact a very lazy scam, and it scares me to think someone is taken in by that. Even the few lines of text have several mistakes in it. Not to mention there would be no good reason for the police to do this. They'd get all sorts of nonsense allegations, allegations in which the victim and/or offender were outside their geographical area (the vast majority of people here do not live within the boundaries of Thames Valley) and all sorts of other problems. Not to mention the police have enough crime to deal with without wading into the middle of online disputes. People can always contact their local police if need be. If the police did start that type of account 99% of the time would be spent explaining to people why they couldn't help.

FR...

Oh please can we have an "ALL ABOUT FIN DOMMES" catch-all thread?

littlewonder -> RE: What's the big deal about FinDoms? (12/30/2012 5:09:12 PM)

Amazing how people fall for scams on here. I just don't get it. I can only assume they either are children, writing from a mental institution or have lived in a cave their entire lives and just somehow figured out how to connect a rock to the internet.

I've sent a note to the admins to check out that account.

Bittenkiss -> RE: What's the big deal about FinDoms? (1/1/2013 6:40:42 AM)

cool, though I don't know how active the admins really are on here (my chat still doesn't work and I have no response at all from them :( )

I sent a report to Thames valley's action fraud website (http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/). they might be too busy to try tracking them, but you never know they might create an account just to 'report' a fraud to that profile :)
