ORIGINAL: tazzygirl And yet free use isnt necessarily commercial. Commercial art is the art of creative services, referring to art created for commercial purposes, primarily advertising. The term has become increasingly anachronistic in favor of more contemporary terms such as graphic design and advertising art. And even it those photos manage to get past point #2, they blatantly failed point #1 - they were NOT taken by themselves; they were copied from elsewhere and not their own work. quote:

The mods on the other side should have the ability to look at new profiles as they come in and stop the abuse of the ToS as it happens. Not shoot the messenger when they report ToS violations. The Admins here are volunteer and often work different sections. Any idea how many photos are uploaded to this system a day? Probably close to a thousand I'd say, based on the number of new profiles I see every day. And I agree, they are volunteers. They volunteered to do the job but are failing miserably at it. So 'shoot the messenger' is the easy option rather than fix the problem. Typical! If anyone had that attitude or worked in that manner they would be dismissed almost instantly for dereliction of duty or just plain incompetence. Just because you are a volunteer shouldn't excuse you from that responsibility. quote:
ORIGINAL: tazzygirl You claimed to have reported hundreds of photos a day. How long did those reports take you? How many did you verify as being truly commercial art work? Those 'photos' are blatant infringement of the first point. It wouldn't even reach point #2 to be considered. How long did it take me?? Less than a hour!! quote:
ORIGINAL: tazzygirl How many were free use? How many days did you do this? Since each report is manually reviewed, verified, then decided upon, thats a long, long time. Couple that with just a few posters doing the same... and can you imagine the work load for one or two reviewers? Who are volunteers? How long would you do it? It doesn't matter about 'free use' - it's still a violation on the first 2 points on the upload page. How long does it take to look at a picture and decide that it wasn't taken by the uploader?? Instantly... Maybe half a second... Lets be generous, I'll give it a whole second. How long would I do it?? If I were allowed, all day every day. I'm a stickler for rules - as is evident on several other (non-BDSM) forums I am a member of. Edit to say: I just followed the rules and used the tools they gave me. I didn't go browsing through profiles either - only what randomly showed up on the Browse Photos page. And for HW: thanks - I think you got the gist! I'm not sure if tazzy is just being obtuse or playing DA.
