Either the TOS is not being followed or it was not being followed. No, it means there was a change in policy because administration changed their minds about what the TOS really meant. We're not talking about the 10 Commandments here. They are allowed to change their minds. Unless posters are being moderated by different interpretations of the rules contemporaneously, I don't see what's unfair about that. You totally missed my point of the post though. My point is that "words that can be used in exactly the same context in a kindergarten parent-teacher conference or church cannot be used on a kink site." Can you see how that is ludicrous? No, and frankly I don't believe that calling someone "illiterate" would be considered appropriate at church or a parent teacher conference. But assuming it was, I would recommend to them the use of those two extra words. We're losing good posters who have been here for years. That's been true, always. WHY? What has changed? Perhaps the face of BDSM, or at least, of this site. Maybe that requires a kinder, gentler forum environment. Pam Kinder and gentler or kindergarten? As for illiterate at church or a P/t conference. Yes, the word has been used. "Ol Ben is illiterate...ain't it nice how the preacher goes and reads the Bible to him?" "Maam, you have to understand. The state board of education will not allow a person who is illiterate to recieve a diploma. I understand that he has a scholarship offer from Ohio State but that is the rule. We need some remedial work badly"
