And yet you cannot show who is pressing the ideology of permanent gun bans forward. The only ones in power I see saying anything about permanent bans is those against it.

The country with the most lax gun control in the "first" world. Is the country with the largest gun deaths in the "first world.
Simple. To suggest that violent crime is an excuse to not do something about gun deaths is truly ignoring the truth.

The infamous Holder statement about brainwashing the American people against guns
Obamas statement that gun bans don't violate individual rights
If you don't know about these your not informend on the subject

Two what do you call demanding proof of a current demand to confiscate when I said I expected it down the road when like the first guns that look like assault weapons ban this one doesn't work
