That was painful to watch but I've seen 2 other debates on his show where Pierce was fanatically talking over his pro gun guests. I have an even better one though I'll post link to when I get on the computer.

Considering the NRA is currently pushing for the legalization of gun-silencers, in the wake of this latest mass murder,calling Alex Jones the face of that side of the debate would be true. Morgan hasn't been all that civil on the air in the course of his gun control crusade. I'd be happy if we dumped them both. ETA: Silencers are legal in 39 states if you jump through the proper ATF hoops.

Dump Ted Nugent did you mean ? I'd rather keep him around. I knew you could own silencers with all the right paperwork. I'm curious to know what Owner is talking about. His post implied something other than jumping through hoops and the laws already in place.

I think Alex Jones performance was brilliant. At first, Mr. Morgan was not there to debate Alex Jones. He planned to set Alex up and advance the government agenda he represents. It was obvious. The plan was to show Alex Jones in bad light and then to bring up these two other idiot monkeys ("experts", who came later) to advance in summary the gun confiscation agenda. Alex Jones understood what it was about, he took charge and he presented all his major points. Most importantly: the second amendment is not about hunting, guns do not kill people, the governments are historically the biggest killers, all recent mass killings included mind altering prescription drugs, the current and previous US governments are involved in criminal activity (9/11, illegal wars, illegal civil rights violations etc.). Mr. P. Morgan looked like a fool. He totally under-estimated Alex Jones.

Mr. Morgan seemed reasonable and Mr. Jones was much like a lunatic at some points. Its not that Mr. Jones was a raving, foam-at-the-mouth, flailing arms madly, lunatic. Just his material was so outlandish that it was hard to take the man serious. I'm more likely able to reason with Mr. Morgan; even making a compromise if it came to it. Mr. Jones seems like the type that demands to be the tyrant and hold little room to be reasoned.

Nothing reasonable about restricting semi automatics aside from checking backgrounds. What compramusex are you refering to ? But yes Jones came off as a bit nutty. At least he didn't allow himself to fall into the set up.

Nugent made excellent points and delivered them well without coming off like a rude asshole. I've seen Piers act like a rude asshole though.
