The current Fienstien bill bans firearms with flash supressors bayonet lugs and other basically cosmetic aspects of firearms. Seriously when is the last time you heard of a bayonet charge by criminals?

Uh, maybe they are afraid of criminals that watched "We were Soldiers" with Mel Gibson, there was a bayonet charge in that movie.

Actually, Assault weapons under the Feinstein bill are not ACTUALLY assault weapons. They are semi automatic rifles built on a military frame.

The true definition of Assault Weapon is any select fire weapon that is the basic issue weapon for the military.

M16 is an assault weapon

AR15 is a semi automatic rifle built on a military rifle frame.

Just so you know, there is a fucking big difference between what is sold to civilians and what is sold to the military. The military does not buy semi automatic weapons.

I wish the fucking non-service people in the country would learn the fucking difference.

No military issue side arms are not full auto, NOR are they called assault weapons.

Bama it is not only a smoke screen, but it is fucking useless.

I could see banning magazines holding more than ten rounds, but anyone that has practiced can do a mag change in less than 2 seconds, and trust me, you can carry a lot of mags within easy reach for fast reloads.

But I could go to Dallas with about 4 grand and pick up 6 or 7 full auto AK47's or about 5 AK 74's and ten mags per weapon. Not legally, but hey, who cares.

he is correct and some pistols are full auto however he did say assault rifle not pistol.. if you cant grasp that you are a moron.. and when he says select fire he means more than selecting saftey on/off.. most weapons today come with a selection of fire options to serve multiple purposes.. the fully automatic rifle such as the ak47 was designed not with accuracy in mind but suppressive fire.. the designer knew most soldier were to scared to actually make accurate shots so they needed to spray and pray.. a civilian ak47 wonnabe is a semi automatic which you need to be accurate with as you cannot spray...

furthermore flash suppressors sound suppressors bayonets and whatever else you are refering to is not cosmetic.. they all serve a purpose they were designed to.. a cosmetic aspect would be the housing.. plastic guards pretty much anything to make a gun look cooler that is not needed in any scenario.. kinda like saddams golden ak47

The point is that bayonet lugs and flash supressors have zero bearing on crime. And far more people die from military medical care than bayonets

yes and no currently i can add threads to my five seven for only 200 dollars and suppress it both flash and sound.. now i dont because it has a moving barrel in it and adding weight could cause jams.. but the point is if no one hears or sees me committing a crime its much easier as a criminal.. i am against banning them.. it is far to easy to just add the threads and a home made suppressor anyhow i view it as pointless.. and in that aspect would say it will have no bearing on crime..
