Seems the time has arrived to actually do something about guns,damm shame is that an awful lot of tragedies were allowed to transpire before we got sick and tired of doing nothing. Britain used militias for local protection and regular forces for wars. I also think you will be hard pressed to show were the king insisted every white male be armed.
