Status: offline 		I wasn't talking about pre med but about med school. If the doctor doesn't understand the causes of your obscure illness, nor know how to treat it, and only passed the exam because he cheated, would you want him treating you?

Because I wouldn't. Nor do I want for a lawyer someone who copied the answers on the test. I want someone who does understand the legal code.

You do realize med school is nothing like college, right?

Med school is, in all reality, only two years of school and then two years of, in essence, slave labor (interns).
They introduce these interns as "Doctor X" to the patients, but they're interns just the same for the next two years (or more, depending on the specialty).

The drop-out rate for undergraduate schools is what, overall? Something like 25% or so? And for pre-med, it's what? Something like 75% or so? I don't know the actual figures but compare with the drop-out rate for Medical school, which is almost negligible.
Sure, everyone in medical school has already learned the system (the system never changes) but, what really happens is that in medical school they have only so many slots and if you drop out, there's nobody to fill your slot.

So medical school is vastly different (as is graduate school, by the way). I mean how many of you have been through graduate school? Probably half of you - so you know what I'm talking about.
Graduate school (even electrical engineering) is EASIER (by far) than undergraduate. It's just different how they treat you. First off, instead of 300 people in your Bio 101 class, you only have 30 people in your graduate school class.
And a C is considered a failure so the teachers basically give out only As and Bs. Of course, you CAN earn a C - but you'd have to try to earn one - at least at the well known university I attended.

Anyway, doctors learn just like plumbers learn. On the job.
And doctors, like plumbers, know a lot. I'm NOT saying they don't. All I'm saying is what I've already said about the answers to the test never spoiled a test for me (or for anyone else for that matter).
It's the same with nude pictures (for me) - but you can differ (that's OK).
It looks like we're still evenly split anyway on the poll where the men overwhelmingly prefer the nudies and the women overwhelmingly prefer not.
What a surprise. Men and woman are diametrically polar.

I will wager, having been through the system, yet without being able to actually offer proof, that there has NEVER been anyone who ever aced Organic Chemistry who was NOT exposed to the exams of that teacher beforehand.

In my later years of college, I was able to get the exams myself - so I know how prevalent it was.

And, I was on Pell Grants and did work/study, so they had me TA the organic classes.

We caught LOTS AND LOTS of people answering the questions to the exam that werent' even asked!

Yep. They all had studied the question, but the professor twisted this one question oddly such that it LOOKED like this other question but what people did was answer the OTHER question (the one that was in the old tests but not in the new test).
The funny thing was the question was half the old one (meaning the old one had more conditions), so they ADDED the (unasked for) conditions.

I STILL remember that idiotic smile on the professor's face as he went over the odd test results with us. He KNEW exactly what had happened.

Guess what? I was SURE he wouldn't re-use his exams on the NEXT test. But he did. And on the next one after that.
He just didn't care. Nobody cares. That's the system. If you don't learn to beat the system, you don't move forward IN the system.

If you haven't taken Organic Chemistry, you will have NO IDEA of what I'm talking about.
Just like if you haven't been to the male bathrooms where the gay guys hang out, you'll have no idea if I tried to explain it to you what they do day in and day out - you just can't possibly understand unless you've been through it yourself.

That's why I said what I did about the women who post breast shots and then complain because they don't get men wanting to get to know them. They lead with their boobs, so the men aren't thinking about who she is.

Sadly though, even though many of us have written profiles in the hopes of it being as you describe above, I know for most of us ladies, it doesn't matter what we put in our profile, there is a significant number of men who can't be bothered to read it.

Thing is LL, I enjoy looking at them, BUT I would not be interested in a relationship with them.

Looking and wanting to be with someone are different in my world.

I don't want to see you naked IF I am interested, before I even get to know you as a person.

But since I am not interested nor compatible with 80% on here, I can enjoy the cheap thrills!

The case has been made that profile photos are there to give you information about a person... some will be good, some will be bad, you get the idea.

i think this is just one of those instances where you have to take the good with the bad, and scroll your mouse really fast in case of the ugly.

Well, that's pretty much the point, isn't it? It's like the guy who dates the amazonian bimbo, but sure as hell doesn't want to take her home to his family or marry her.

I don't want someone to introduce themselves to me with a cock shot. I don't understand why they don't get how much it says about them, and no in a good way.

I once had a man who had to be 400lbs. send me a picture of his ass in a pink thong. I swear that image is painfully burned into my brain for eternity. Since then, I have hidden profiles with primary cock shots or anything else I find offensive to have tossed in my face when I sign in on the other side. Primary cock shots also get reported. When they are secondary or more, I may look at them, but it is not offensive. I mean, it is a BDSM site, so a lot of people are going to toss their sexuality to the forefront. Sometimes, the photos are interesting for entertainment value (as in the d-type with the gherkin penis who talks about what he will do with his big cock, lol).

I would never even think that the site should ban such photos, to each is own. I just don't want it thrown in my face, and I would much prefer the ones that have a little thought behind them. Now that, I find enticing, well thought out and a little bit of a turn on (I admit, I have a thing for guys that can fix things).

You didn't ask the correct question because studying off the exams is not considered cheating at any school I've been to.

What are you supposed to do when you're handed the entire file of the past 10 years' worth of exams? Look the other way? I think not.

I was in a fraternity myself. Studying off the old exams is normal in EVERY fraternity. At every school. It's one of the main reasons (other than the obvious better chance at seeing drunk nekked women) for being IN a fraternity.

The brotherhood protects its members. And that includes the GPA of its members.

The thing is, I can look, and even might save to my favorites and look all the time.
It would be hard as hell for me to consider MEETING or getting close to someone with naked pictures on the internet.

I am the one that looks and looks and looks and then is interested in someone not naked/nor showing body parts, on the internet.
