Just look at the voting...is there any more need for proof that men and women are fundamentally mentally different creatures?

Its a damn wonder we ever get together let alone have long term relationships...if the results are true... Personally i think most of the women are lying

It's only TESTOSTERONE in the men that they even bother to LOOK at women.

Hmmm... how should I respond.
I went to college. Pre med. I know what it's like. The way to get INTO med school is to do ANYTHING it takes to get in, if you're a guy (in the years I took it, affirmative action was in full force).
Women could get in with a 3.7 or 3.8 average while men couldn't get close to an interview without a 4.0 average (at least for US med schools).
Bio 101, Calc 101, Physics 101, etc. are no big deal - but the big weeding out class is Organic Chemistry your sophomore year.
Trust me. Nobody on the planet understands organic chemistry. You either memorize a book of chemical equations that is, oh, about four inches thick (Morrison & Boyd), or you cheat.

The ones who memorize lose. The ones who cheat win. THOSE are your doctors today.

How do they cheat? Well, if they're in a frat, they have ALL the last 20 years' worth of exams. Many know enough to get the book answers so they can zip through their homework with 100% correct scores.
The guy who doesn't cheat doesn't get through organic chemistry.

But there's more. Then take Microbio class (Davis, Delbecco, Eisen, Ginsberg, & Wood). I'm sure I'm dating myself, but that book has to be six inches thick. It's all about bacteria.
Again, like Organic, nobody really understands this stuff (I only realized that many years later).

The guys (and gals) who are MD's today "may" be incredibly smart - but - more likely - they learned how to scam the system.

If you've been through these classes - feel free to explain how you may beg to differ - but if you haven't been through it yourself, you actually have absolutely no clue what I'm talking about (and, you won't even believe anything I say because it's hard for you to believe).

Entirely off topic, but I aced micro, annihilated A&P I&II, top of the class for Chem I, and expect the same for Chem II.

I never cheated. Fucking ever. I studied and understood the concepts and processes being taught. I know for a fact that the girl I've attended these classes with, ALSO has not cheated.

Old tests? Please. These instructors for the most part give different tests for every semester. My chem instructor actually assigns different 'recommended exercises' each semester.

The only reason I have a low GPA of 3.7 is because of screwing around and dropping out when I was fresh out of highschool.

Ugh.

That's a weird mix because nobody takes Microbiology anything before taking Organic Chemistry (which isn't in your list).
And, very few people take Anatomy as undergraduates (I took it in graduate school at the medical school because that had the best time - so I was in with the med school students for a year myself).
Certainly nobody would take Anatomy and not take Organic Chemistry and maybe even Biochemistry (although very few people take Biochemistry except the pure chemists as that is harder than Organic Chemistry, but for different reasons).
Besides, I've never heard Inorganic Chemistry at the college level ever called "Chem I" or "Chem II" but I supposed it 'could' easily be considered same at other schools than where I went.

So I'm a bit confused. But the real problem with your statement is the word cheating. You don't understand anything I'm saying if you call studying off old tests cheating.
Studying off the old tests is what all Fraternity boys do. Anyone would do it if they had access to the tests. The hard part isn't studying off the test - that's a given - the hard part is having access to 20 years' worth of tests.

Actually, the hardest part is having the last four or five tests of YOUR INSTRUCTOR (since they all ask questions differently). Whenever there is a NEW instructor, the grades plummet for a semester or three.
Until the frats catch up.

Anyway, I'm not sure what this has to do with cheating or with naked people other than my initial sentiment that nobody ever spoiled a test by giving me the answers just as nobody ever spoiled a profile by giving me a picture of their naked body.
(Of course, I DID see that post about the 400-pound guy in pink panties ... and well ... that ... um ... well ... that just might spoil the profile ... so I guess I should qualify it that nobody who is near normal in body structure ever spoiled it for me by showing their nekked body.)

PS: I should note that my inbox isn't being flooded with nekked pictures of you ladies - so - it seems that while I enjoy seeing it - none of you are sending them. Sigh ... I guess I'll need to adapt to you women after all! :)

But, at least what I say is truthful (from my experience).

If people had given me ALL the exams in college and graduate school, I would NEVER once have complained.

And, I don't know a single person who received those exams who would consider it cheating - and not one professor (witness the reaction of the one who HAD to know the people were working off the old exams).

BTW, I also TA'd the labs. One lab I had to change because we didn't have the right chemicals. Do you know what happened? I still, to this day, marvel at the fact that about 10% of the kids handed in the OLD LABS!

I was shocked. The lab we did didn't even resemble the old lab (since I had to hack it out by scratch the weekend prior). Yet only 90% of the students handed in the right labs. 10% were simply copying off the old labs (most again the frat boys) and didn't even doublecheck.

To this day I'm shocked still because SOME of them must have been in the class (I don't remember which at this point). Now, THIS I 'would' call cheating. I gave them all Bs (the rest got As as it 'was' just a lab).

The crazy thing about Organic Chemistry lab though is that it's 2 credits (whereas most labs are only 1 credit), which, in addition to the 4-credits for Organic (whereas most classes are only 3 credits) makes it 6 credits for the class and the lab, yet, the amount of work is probably double what your next twelve credits are for your sophomore semesters. Just saying ...

I have no idea where you went to school, although I'm assuming it was quite a few years ago.

If you have paid any attention to Lynn's previous posts, you would know she is talking about Microbiology.

A&P is Anatomy & Physiology and Chemistry is not necessarily a freshman class.

You are the one who is quite confused here. A&P I and II are both required classes in any nursing program which is certainly undergrad.

There is also the fact that since you went to school so long ago, you may be unaware of the changes that have occurred in academics. It certainly seems that way.

As for being the same...I said BASICALLY the same. A penis, balls, scrotum...two cheeks and an anus...2 breasts two nipples with both being round. Hopefully, that gives you a clearer picture as your photo does to me.

And yes, we were born naked so our parents would have a choice in buying us Pampers or whatever other diaper brands there are!

Being born naked has nothing to do with the fact that people have different sized penises.

Sorry. I assumed that when I said micro, you would assume that I meant the same microbiology class you just referenced.

And nope. Chemistry 1211 and 1212. These are not the courses you can CLEP with high school classes, and 101 does not transfer to 1211.

I had the option to take Anatomy and Physiology with their labs, so I went for it.

These ARE the classes required for pre-med.

Yes, studying from the old tests is cheating. You aren't learning the material, you have no idea what is going on, and the grade earned is a joke. REALLY? A potential MD not even having the capacity to master basic anatomy? I'm not even going for a MD, and I'd never have the audacity to just bullshit my way through courses that, in my opinion, are essential to my chosen career.

I will agree with you on one thing.... This is entirely off topic.

Thanks for confirming. I see that you're talking nursing - and I was in normal college classes and not at a nursing school so I don't know what the curriculum is for nursing students.

I emphatically agree that I haven't taken an undergraduate course in decades so things are different (our computers used punched cards and JCL instructions, to give you a hint ... and our modems were half duplex, with a big black telephone (literally) in the cradle).

Still ... I remember what I wrote about - which is only related to this thread by virtue of the fact I said nobody ever ruined a movie or an exam by giving me the ending or answers.

And it's the same way for nekked pictures in the profile. The more nekked the better. No need to leave anything for the imagination.

Of course, that sentiment isn't exactly working for me either though ... :)
