I actually don't think she's that bad. I really like her workouts. I have four of her videos. I feel amazing after I do them and they increase my stamina and I can run longer and faster.( supppppperman! :P) Yes, sometimes her mouth gets annoying, but I have selective listening anyways, so I just tune it out and continue on with my workouts.

went for an amazing walk today, up and down the hills near my house and ate sensibly. and my dad ate all of the milk chocolate-covered honeycomb so no dessert. but that's a good thing!

Woohoo!
My foot (toe) didn't hurt today during or after my work out.
The 1st time since Thursday.

Venison, Farm Raised

In another thread the discussion about venison came up and I couldn't find the link the Shaffer Farms where I normally order, so i could only post the other site that I get it from on sometimes.

I love fresh venison.

So yeah, I had this bright idea that because my shoulder is still messed up I would just run about 3.5 miles, skip the weight training tonight, and all would be good. So tonight I'm in a whole world of hurt. It's like 8pm and I am so ready to crawl into bed with a heating pad.

TheLilSquaw -> RE: Workout (2/11/2013 5:13:35 PM)

Aww.... take care of yourself!

lmpishlilhellcat -> RE: Workout (2/11/2013 5:18:21 PM)

Thanks! I'm a little bullheaded, even though I know better.

Um... you are a woman isn't that par for the course? Lol

My primary has this weight vest that has me intrigued!
I want to try it but he said, it's really easy to overdue it using it.

Lol my guy just thinks I'm insane. He's been mumbling under his breath since I got home about hard headed women, something must be wrong with me, and on and on and on.

It is very easy to overdo it . I would just start slow and then work your way up. They make ankle and arm weights (they wrap around your ankles and wrists), which might be a good place to start. I've used a weight vest for walking before. I haven't been brave enough to try running.

ARIES83 -> RE: Workout (2/11/2013 6:00:02 PM)

Bah, everyone says I over do it too, but only you
know your limits, and pushing them is the whole
idea.

Lol right now I'm sporting what I'm pretty sure is a broken finger, plus some shoulder and arm issues from falling on the ice. I really do need to let my body heal.

Holy Heck!
I agree, let your body heal.

I have little to no concept of pain. I just soldier on through it. It's what makes me a great lil masochist :P I still went and played bball tonight.

Nothing wrong with lil masochists. hehehe

lmpishlilhellcat -> RE: Workout (2/13/2013 5:14:59 PM)

I was so bad today. We had a work get together at BWW's and I had sangria, queso dip, and wings. I still did a workout though! :P

TheLilSquaw1 -> RE: Workout (2/13/2013 5:18:51 PM)

Imp...
I have been wanting pizza which I haven't had in months and the last time I had pizza it was a Naan Pizza. But I didn't.

lmpishlilhellcat -> RE: Workout (2/13/2013 5:22:10 PM)

Ooooooooooooo I love naan bread mmmmmmmmmmm. A store here sells garlic naan and it's so yummy and soft and nom nom nom..

TheLilSquaw1 -> RE: Workout (2/13/2013 5:36:25 PM)

And Naan pizzas are amazing and healthy!

The Giants that I go to has garlic Naan, red chili Naan, and plain. I like them all. Lol

AthenaSurrenders -> RE: Workout (2/13/2013 11:13:27 PM)

Have any of you used the zombies run app? I just got it and sheesh, it sure motivates you to sprint when you can hear those zombies closing in on you! They caught me at the end of my run though (it was mean to make me sprint up the hill right at the end of my session).

I've barely got anything done lately. Mind you, my daughter is just learning 'head, shoulders, knees and toes' so that a hundred times a day has got to burn some calories... right?

absolutchocolat -> RE: Workout (2/13/2013 11:15:58 PM)

Sheesh, been on vacation and walking damn near 3 miles everyday, just because I refuse to drive in San Francisco! People here drive like bats out of hell.

I have also been working on my backhand with the pet. [;)] Flogging really gives ya sore arms after a while...

The zombie app sounds cool. And hell, running around with toddlers/small children always burns calories.
