You guys are aware that the cartels have their own machine shops to manufacture weapons and traffic weapons back across the border on a regular basis.Criminals love gun control it makes buying guns easier for them to get them illegally.I do not trust our government and I used to work for them.

If gun bans made you safe then DC and Chigago would be the safest cities in the country.

DC gun laws were over turned in a court action by gun owner groups. Chicago has a major problem as pointed out with weapons being purchase outside the city and brought in.

Georgia has some of the most lenient gun laws in the country. If Chicago has the problems with shootings that it has even with a gun ban then Atlanta by all rights should be a veritable blood bath - yet it isn't. Something doesn't add up in all of the gun control rhetoric. The young inner city folk of Chicago just want to kill each other and those in Atlanta do not. Gun bans and lenient gun laws (with their easy access to guns) don't really have any impact.

Niether one holds water. The D C crime rate jumped well before the gun ban was overturned. And they bring them in from other places has a logic hole you could drag an oil tanker through. Namely Why aren't the places those guns come from overrun with crime if anyone (even honest citizens ) can get them.

Because they take them to Chicago...you know there is a pill for those with water retention.

But by your logic the crime rates would be as high in those other areas and they are not.

The young inner city folk of Chicago just want to kill each other

I find your statement to be very appalling. Hadiya Pendleton, 15, an honor student at Chicago’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. College Preparatory High School, You think this girl (Hadiya Pendleton, 15, an honor student at Chicago’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. College Preparatory High School) really just wanted to do, kill someone. Don't you have a Cross Burning to go to?

No thier attackers did and you know it.

Nosathro -> RE: Chris Kyle, Navy Seal and sniper. Why did this have to happen? (2/6/2013 11:04:53 PM)

Getting back to the topic...it maybe the Chris Kyle also suffered from PTSD as well as Eddie Ray Routh. It also appears Routh has been hospitalized on several times and has had some violent eposides. There also appears to be alcohol abuse in both men as well. I do not know if alcohol was consumed at the range but if it was it would explain alot.

Sorry my post appalled you. You should have just reported it (like I did yours) instead of insulting me. I cannot believe what these fucking moderators let people get away with.

While I could have worded it better the point I am making is that the problem isn't gun laws or gun bans or gun availability. There are other forces at work.

I insulted you????? That racist remake of yours? If you are expecting me to apologize, I would not count on it.

The above totally ignores the law of supply and demand.
Of course pro gun advocates ignore all sorts of things in pursuit of their goals.
Were I inclined to put together a list of things ignored Sandy Hook Elementary School would be at the top.

" If this can happen to him, why does anyone assume it couldnt happen to them?"
I see this obvious false flag (at best) worked

Good Job!

So in your mind we shouldn't even bother to search for a solution for killings at all......Thats pretty incredible.

Everything is a false flag now eh?...keep wearing the blinders...so you dont have to ponder the realities of life.
Thinking outside a box just doesnt do it for you? slap a label.....false flag on everything, and hope it makes you look....smart.
News Flash....

There is a difference between doing nothing and not doing what you want.

Don't you see? It's quite simple:
""We must do something, this is something, so we must do this."

Many "solutions" have been offered. I have yet to see gun enthusiasts embrace any of them.

If a politician thinks doing something, anything, will gain voters, he/she will push for it. I can pretty much guarantee you that some politician would pass a bill subsidizing people to put carrots up their noses (no freakin' clue why that hypothetical came to mind, but I'm going with it) if it will gain more votes than it would lose. Even with the bill not passing, the pol can still use his support of such as a way to garner those voters.
