ORIGINAL: TheHeretic I'm inclined to disagree, about it being a sudden snap, Mari. I think it is significant that he was fired from LAPD in 2009 (2008? There are conflicting reports), but only launched his spree after he had been separated from the Naval Reserve. There are a lot of pieces that just don't add up. The attempted boat theft in San Diego, especially. I doubt we'll ever get a full story. We sure as hell aren't getting all that is known so far. There is a sneaky catch on that million dollar reward, too. It's for information leading to his arrest and conviction, but he's going to get gunned down, the moment they find him. If he is already dead, by his own hand and conscience, or just by the weather up in Big Bear, then I'm hoping they don't find his body for a while, just so the public display of LAPD procedure stays spotlit. One thing is for sure, an EX LAPD police officer went berserk, and the LAPD has not had a good reputation for a long time. Maybe they slipped up and hired someone "unbalanced" to begin with, and than he just snapped. Interesting Rich, I was unaware of him leaving the Naval Reserve, there is a lot we don't know, and probably will never know.
