I would consider 140 to be plump, dependent on height. And of course, muscle versus fat, blah blah blah. But sure...definitely could be.

This is the coolest site I've seen in a LONG time. Thank you so much for sharing it.

I know I just checked this site out. I went to my height and my weight. I saw so many different body types. Some women looked much heavier than others. It is really cool!

Ain't it though?

Kaliko -> RE: Sorry, I just have to vent! (Warning: Weight Thread) (2/10/2013 6:52:08 PM)

I do love that site. I've gone to it a number of times. It really helps keep things in perspective...with real women, real bodies.

Well if you have had a dancer's body, then you too might be seeing things from a different perspective than most of us. However, in my book, if you can fit into size 10 jeans, NO HAY PLUMPO.

I've weighed 95-115 lbs most of my life so, yes, 140 is plump for me. I also used to dance and lift weights regularly. I just haven't done that since my metabolism changed after my 2nd child. I really need to exercise more but I cop to laziness. Now, if someone comes up with a way to make some of my tummy migrate to my boobs, I'll keep the extra 25 lbs and won't utter a single complaint. [:D]

I don't think they even call them that anymore, do they?

Hated it! [8D]

I don't know, but it reminds me of that King of the Hill episode where Bobby became a runway model.

lol, I loved that show.

And I agree with Red, it's not a bad idea to go by looks and feel moreso than the scale.

What about your back? I gotta think an extry 25 carried that high would mess thing up, no?

And I do agree with the view that lifestyle and (out)look or feel(ings) matter much more than the numbers themselves.

It certainly can be rough on the back, but you get used to it. Working out to get the underlying muscles strong helps a great deal. You do have to run very carefully.

Do surgeons not take belly or ass fat and turn it into boob fat? Would anyone like some of mine?

Edited to add: I'm pretty sure I don't have 25 pounds of boobage though.

MrRodgers -> RE: Sorry, I just have to vent! (Warning: Weight Thread) (2/10/2013 7:17:59 PM)

Come on, for the card-carrying dirty old man, (who just happened to have lost his card) there is in loose terms...slim = freshmeat, average = smok'n hot, and a few extra lbs. = pleasingly plump.

I.E.,...it's ALL good.

It's not about being skinny or slim, it's about being healthy.

Move enough of the tummy to give me a C-D cup and it won't be too much for my back. I had a D-DD after giving birth so I know I can carry it. The rest of the weight can stay where it is and I'll cheerfully embrace "nerdy, dirty & curvy" as part of my identity.

littlewonder -> RE: Sorry, I just have to vent! (Warning: Weight Thread) (2/10/2013 7:25:32 PM)

for some men, 140 is plump depending on her height.

I am 5'3" and about 2 years ago, my weight ballooned to 140 and yeah...I was fat. Sorry, I use honest words for how I looked. Master even commented on it. It was that and moving here to Master and my entire life changing that gave me the push and motivation to lose the weight. I still have about 15 more lbs to go which are the being the hardest for me to get rid of.

So, it's all going to come down to your height, build, how and where you carry your weight. So I can see how the man saw 140 as being plump, especially if she was short and did not hold her weight well.

It's all relative. Some people who are used to being stick thin, and who are around stick thin people, will see 140 as plump. Also, if at least 10 of it isn't in the breasts, it will make a big difference.

littlewonder -> RE: Sorry, I just have to vent! (Warning: Weight Thread) (2/10/2013 7:34:15 PM)

Exactly. It was always pretty small, between 100 and 115 for the majority of my life. After my daughter was born 21 years ago, I was just never to able to work off the baby tummy. Nothing I ever did changed it. Then from stress at my former work and other problems in my life, I ballooned. I had never ever weighed that much before. I was miserable for me. I was so sick of it that I got liposuction done to lose the baby tummy. I just couldn't live with it anymore and knew no matter how much I exercised, I would never get rid of that pooch. So by doing that and reducing my breasts about 12 years ago has really helped me to feel better about myself.

Now if I can just get rid of these last 15 lbs. UGH. It gets soooo much harder after you reach 40. [:'(]

Baroana -> RE: Sorry, I just have to vent! (Warning: Weight Thread) (2/10/2013 7:36:27 PM)

Ouch, I don't want to be 40 [>:]

Paul McKenna was a major factor in my losing 100 pounds, if that helps any.

EsotericLady -> RE: Sorry, I just have to vent! (Warning: Weight Thread) (2/10/2013 7:37:21 PM)

It wouldn't have bothered me at all, actually. So he thought his ex-owner was plump? LOL So what?
I would have just shrugged and said ok.

It just really bothered me, as though he holds women to an impossible standard. Even though he did not specifically link the quality of "plumpness" to attractiveness or lack thereof, he also failed to compliment my beauty (or hers) in any way during the conversation.

I have a pic of Myself at that weight, 5'2" 140 lbs, size 8 or 10 pant, size med shirt...I look really skinny in My pic, more like the first pic with the girl in shorts and a black-patterned bikini top...but then again I've got bigger bones than most of My friends who are the same height, not BIG bones but medium, and I've got MUSCLE (horse farm, and past martial arts, weight lifting). I carry most of My weight in the caboose so I guess that makes a difference. I know at 130lbs I had RIBS like a washboard instead of breasts and My head looked like a lollipop (photos in a photo album somewhere prove it). I was always getting sick at that weight as well. When I'm at 145 husband complains that guys are checking Me out too much, so I know I must look good at that weight. ;P

It drives Me nuts that BMI charts never take into account ethnic differences in bone density, nor level of muscle mass. I'm the same height as several of My friends, Cambodian, East Indian, black, white, and we all have completely different thickness of hands and wrists, shoe sizes, even when we are the same weight. I've a 5'2" friend who is a competitive body builder at about 150 lbs last I spoke to her, and she's pretty much ZERO body fat.

As far as I'm concerned it's all B.S....a voluptuous woman in well-fitted clothes chosen to compliment her figure can look far sexier than a skinny woman in the wrong clothing style for her frame. Plus, a lot of it is in how you carry and groom yourself.

For those of you who are Dommes, why do you feel the need to suit a man's ideals anyway? Who is supposed to please whom? For those of you who are subs, that's just ONE man's opinion of you, so long as you are within a healthy range good ones won't care about your weight (which, stop pretending, we ALL know changes either seasonally or between years).

As for those of us who simply want to lose weight for bikini season, it isn't until May/June. We still have time. LOL
