You seem to have attended the same math comprehension schools as Comic Con boy. OK, one ignorant person called it an "Obamaphone" on youtube. I call the program "Obamaphone," because it's a catchy little name that stuck. Calling the Strategic Defense Initiative, "Star Wars," wasn't all that accurate either, and the Affordable Care Act would be much better described as "Sabotaging Healthcare," than as, "Obamacare," but that one has even been embraced by the President. Get over it.

The cancer is because of right wingers who would rather deny lawful benefits to people who qualify. The fact is that the phone is an absolutely essential aspect of life and if you want people getting jobs and getting off "welfare" they need phones. Now why do people who don't qualify have phones? Because the companies that provide the service cannot have the application included in the application or renewal of benefits conducted by the various agencies involved. Instead they get addresses from those agencies and mail out the application.
