ORIGINAL: jlf1961 Some times I think people would doubt the source if God Himself announced the truth from the heavens. I certainly would since I believe in neither gods nor heavens. But, I am, at least, willing to concede the possibility that they might exist, unlikely though it seems to me. You seemed to have forgotten the advances in technology that could easily fake an appearance of the almighty. He would have to pull off some miracle that cannot be discounted, like maybe Charlie Sheen and Lindsey Lohan stop using drugs, alcohol and breaking the law followed by the both of them joining religious orders and taking vows of silence. Umm, those advances in technology are one of the reasons I would doubt it. As to reforming a couple of show business morons, that wouldn't impress me, as I don't care about any of them. Now, making politicians start actually saying something when they speak, THAT would impress me. For the almighty to affect the behavior of politicians two things are necessary, the politicians would have to have a soul, and secondly they would have to give up their belief that they are God.
