Was he reporting on what the data actually showed, or was he just making stuff up contrary to what the data showed? If we take a poll and the results showed that males had a triple digit average IQ while females had a double digit average IQ, reporting that males have a higher average IQ wouldn't be part of a campaign against women. It would be what people in the know call, statistics. Had the report stated that women have a higher average IQ based on the same data, then there would be some bias there, as the data didn't prove the claims.

If the data he's compiled showed the results he reported, where is he wrong?

And we all know just how accurate IQ tests are, right?

The implication from the graph is that the GOP is ignoring its faithfully happily wedded constituents. Pretty sure I read that in his link.

Now, explain to me the significance of female voters in long standing "married" relationships in voting when Obama won the election by 12 percentage points across all women voters?

It "implies" that happily married women will vote for GOP. It also "implies" that blue states have a diminished number of "happily" married women.

quote:

Happy White Married People Vote Republican, So Why Doesn't The GOP Work On Making White People Happy?

That really gave me a chuckle. Just because someone is married doesnt make the marriage a happy one. Or am I the only one to understand the bulshit in that attempt at correlation.

Guess our definitions of "happily" differ.

Well, anyone who lives in Rockville Maryland has sucked on the government tit.  Rockville Maryland is a welfare patient town, they are communists there.

But Rockville, Maryland isn't in Texas.

What did the data show, Tazzy? Did the data support or refute his statements? If IQ tests aren't accurate, why are they still used?

"Happy White Married People" is not necessarily the same as "happily married women," unless you are also claiming that white women require being happily married to be happy, or that the only women who will be happily married are white women.

I don't put a lot of stock in his analysis, but if the data supports his assertions, then the data supports his assertions. Also notice that if he's assigning causation and not simply correlation, well, I think that would be an easier thing to disagree with him on.

Does it test creative intelligence? Do they test emotional intelligence? How about those who are simply bad test takers?

He didnt do a study where he asked. He looked at the longevity based upon census data and determined they were "happy" as a result of years in a marriage.

I am claiming nothing you are asserting. The author of the chart made the claim

quote:

Happy White Married People Vote Republican

Its my assertion that other races can be equally as happy and vote democratic. His assertion is based solely upon number of years. I happen to know many couples who are in long term marriages who are miserable on both sides of the political divide.

Sooooooooo where does he get the assumption that are "happy"? Simply because they still live together? [8|]

The problem with your theory is that it was pointed out earlier that Rockville MD overwhelmingly votes Dem.

Translation. Knee jerk responses without looking at the actual posts and data make one look exceedingly unintelligent.

Didn't answer any of my questions with that. So, I re-ask: If IQ test aren't accurate, why are they still used?

You used two distinctly different phrases as equal in meaning. Pointing out that truth is all I did.

You can knock his assumption all you want. But, don't say the data doesn't show something and then don't show that.

Fuck if I knew, I never took one, never needed too.

Question for you. If they are the be all end all, why arent they mandatory?

The data doesnt show the couples are happy.

The data doesnt show that people in shorter year relationships arent more happy.

In my opinion, his data simply proves that people get into marriages, some are happy, some are not, people stay in relationships for many reasons.

Does not reflect they are happy.
Does not reflect that people who are not married are or are not happy. Doesnt speak to those who are in same sex relationships who may be equally or more happier than white women who are married for "all those years".

Tossing out an abstract report that states someone is "happy" but backing that with only census data which does not ask that question is bullshit data. He simply wanted to prove his bs theory that "worked" in his opinion, until he went back further than 2000, when he admits his data fell apart.

So, hey, if you want to support his assertions, be my guest. [;)]

Who said they are the be all end all? And, are you completely sure you have never taken one?

I don't need your approval, nor did I seek it, to support or not support his assertions.
