And yet, there is a bill sitting in the House that would repeal GUN free zones. Been sitting there since 7/21/2011.... now sitting in committee.. moved from the House Committee on the Judiciary to the Subcommittee on Immigration Policy and Enforcement. Moved to the Immigration subcommittee by a Republican controlled Judiciary committee. http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d112:h.r.2613: To repeal the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990 and amendments to that Act. Just think.... If the whole of the USA was decalred a "gun free zone" and Joe Public was banned from holding any gun whatsoever unless you could prove a use for one (outside of defense), you would be like Oz and UK where you can count the number of gun crimes in a year on your fingers and have some to spare. [:D] The last report I looked at said there were around 42,000 gun deaths and serious injuries every single day in the US. Oh, but we can't have that can we?! That would violate that ancient and outdated 2nd wouldn't it. I just don't comprehend the "fuck the rest of the country - I want my guns... because I can" attitude. All sooo selfish as to deliberately not want to see what is better for the country as a whole. We don't need any "gun free zones" because people here don't have guns as a rule and certainly don't carry them in the streets. The blind will never see all the while the law allows them to wear a blindfold.

FR Let's face it folks, nobody will be safe in America till it's normal for Ma, Pa, and all the kids to be sitting around the table, saying their prayers before eating while each one - kids included - has their finger on the trigger. Everybody in America should be ready to blow the shit out of everybody else - Ma, Pa, bro or sis - who can you trust? At school, in church, in the cinema . . . everywhere.
