As a relatively new dom, i have about 6 months of experience, with two diff subs. I have found a sub i really see a long future with, for a 24/7 tpe exchange, can you all recommend literature for me to read prior to us making this 24/7, i want to absorb as much additional knowledge as i can.

Why do you need pdf's? Please don't tell Me that you're not invested enough in your education that $15.00 (US) is too much of a burden for you.

The folks who wrote these books spent months, sometimes years, into compiling a lot of information for you from their vast realm of experience. Don't you think they should receive the benefits of royalties?

The author of The Loving Dominant posted here for years. I've seen him reading threads within the last twelve months, but I don't know when he last posted. This isn't exactly The Pirate Bay, and you won't be making a lot of friends by treating this like music piracy. People can get nerve damage from bondage, and bone bruises from caning. So my suggestion for lesson 1 would be: take this shit seriously.

For a man who claims to be a professional who makes good money, you sure are acting cheap and dishonorable by wanting to steal someone's intellectual property.

Buy the damn books yourself. They are available on Amazon. If you want to save some money, buy some of them used.

No. Based upon your post and profile I'd say literature is not going to be helpful to you. You need an actual mentor. You need someone who has actually built a relationship which is like the one you desire for yourself and has gone the distance (whatever distance you desire for yourself). In other words, I think you're too far out to sea for a book to help anything. You're not going to be able to cram for this exam. It's going to take time.

We'll have to disagree on this first part, especially considering the most recent journal entry. (I always love the folks who post a first thread and have suddenly 'found' what they are looking for.)

If anything, since this person is not interested in public exposure, I'd happen to think some book regarding education would be greatly beneficial. If nothing else, things like terminology would be a great asset. This guy wants a punishment dynamic. If nothing else, he should get some idea of how to properly run one.

He's in LA, so there's a ton of lectures and demos he could attend. But, I notice he's doing the "under consideration" thing with a submissive. Blech.

Yes, he's in LA, but he's very specific about not wanting to do the public thing.

Darn shame. I know folks that would kill to have the learning opportunities and public availability that the city offers.

Ah. Thank you, poise. I didn't realize we were dealing with an individual who had changed their name.

Always a bit shady when that and the reason for it isn't expressed, if you ask My personal opinion. Leads one to believe that someone is trying to deceive others.
