This poor chap goes to a top university where the women are just as qualified as the men, and outnumber the men. It bothers him that despite this fact, the women still receive preferential treatment in job recruitment.

FR:
If the women outnumber the men in that university, why are they listed as a minority on that funding application form?
That's nearly as interesting a question as there is no information at all on that link besides an ethnicity add on to a form that can probably be left blank by the applicant with impunity.

TricklessMagic -> RE: The feminist version of equality (3/17/2013 8:40:11 AM)

Women and minorities get treated better than white men by women and minorities. Get over it. Start your own college, business, etc. and do what you want so long as you don't get caught, just be sure to have the token requirements our society demands. Not the best applicant but what society demands as far as token silent affirmative action. Bear in mind though that there are women and minorities who will be the best applicants at times so if you discriminate you stand to get caught. This is the way of the world now. Not what is best to achieve, but what is best to drag the top down to the bottom so everyone is equal.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Moonhead -> RE: The feminist version of equality (3/17/2013 8:47:23 AM)

No, it's paved with angry white guys with an overdeveloped sense of entitlement: haven't you read Dante?

Level -> RE: The feminist version of equality (3/17/2013 9:01:22 AM)

Did he write about dead end streets?

Moonhead -> RE: The feminist version of equality (3/17/2013 9:03:14 AM)

No, that was that Ray Davies out of the Kinks, not Dante...

~FR

My issue with the photo....

He claims his college is a top one... no mention of what college so no way to verify anything he claims

The one thing we can verify is that he is applying for a State of Wisconsin position

The State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB), created in 1951, is responsible for managing the assets of the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), the State Investment Fund (SIF) and other state trust funds. As of December 31, 2011, SWIB managed $83 billion in assets.

http://www.swib.state.wi.us/

Which have to follow state and federal hiring practices, which includes asking those questions these... gentlemen... object too.

Dont like the laws, get the changed.

Yes, men hold a magic wand and can make it all change so easily. But wait, if men do call out on it, we are called whiners, misogynists, slander tactic after slander tactic. Shame shame shame. People everywhere try to silence men who do call things like this out. Damn if men do, damn if they don't.

There is absolutely nothing men can do about this because most of the population aren't willing to listen to men due to female favouritism/ gynocentrism that plagues today's western societies. Men are automatically put down by most of the population when they try, the attitudes people show in these types of threads is a perfect example.

Again, Tazzy blames the male gender for this problem like she does to every single problem in the whole world.

I have asked Tazzy numerous times, what gender issue that exist is ever the fault of women. She never answers. It doesn't surprise me why. If people are discriminating and being sexist to men, it's the fault of men in Tazzy's world. If people are discriminating and being sexist to women, it's the fault of men, once again. Wow what a surprise.

Men passed that law.

How do you know that men are behind this university ruling? I can easily say that feminists minded women made this ruling. But I would be asked for citation for that while people can so easily make such claims like you did and no one will ever ask.

naughtynick81 -> RE: The feminist version of equality (3/18/2013 6:51:46 PM)

And if men did make that ruling, how is it the fault of other men who complain about it? How is it that fault of every male on the planet?

Using your same logic, just because some women encourage female objectification, that means no other female who is against it is ever allowed to complain, it's all their fault.

That application is not the University's. Its the State of Wisconsin's, which requires the State government to vote upon to pass its hiring practices.

When someone points out the facts, you fall back to the victim role. Then you wonder why you are ignored.
