Oh hell yes. I know many men who cheat on their wives and their girlfriends. I know a few who are no more mature at 50 then they were when I knew them 20+ yrs prior. And wisdom? *snickers*, that is a term people like to use when they think they know more than anyone else.

But your post was just plain icky. I think what I disliked about it was the indirectness.

Not to mention the wide sweeping generalizations. I know a lot of older guys that are absolutely immature and unable to keep a relationship going.

LOL. When people use the word wisdom thinking they "know more than anyone else" that's not wise. Actually... wisdom is a deep understanding and realization of people, things, events or situations, resulting in the ability to apply perceptions, judgments and actions in keeping with this understanding, i.e. you either has or you hasn't got - style. :-)

I agree.  Perhaps you should look to find style and wisdom rather than post a thinly disguised advertisement for young ladies.  Let's face facts.  You were just using the forum for advertising for your own personal reasons, not for discussion.  The people here have pointed out your false claims.  Do the mature, wise, classy thing.  Admit you made a mistake.  Move on.

...
But, nice attempt to advertise.

Sounds like wishful or wistful thinking to me!

Hey to each his own...but respect ME for knowing what I want. If I state 38-48 and you are 60....don't email me telling me WHY you are not typical (every old guy is "told all the time he looks 35", "best friends with my kids' and hang out with their friends") and why you have the right to try to push me to accept what YOU have decided YOU want,

DAMNIT! I just hit 49 a few months ago.

every old guy is "told all the time he looks 35"
Damnit, I must not be aging gracefully because nobody ever says that to me. Carol, on the other hand used to get mid 30's a lot when she was early 50's though. When she smiles a decade falls right off her face -- and that's in other people's eyes not my horribly biased and subjective ones.

Or she may have daddy issues/quote] good girl. :-) 8,954 posts whew... Now that shows what the power of the accelerated velocity of terminological inexactitude can do. Cool. :-) M

That was a poor attempt. My history proves itself. You're just some guy on the internet trying to justify why you think younger women should give you a chance.

HarryVanWinkle -> RE: There may be many reasons why a younger girl/woman may prefer to choose an older man. (3/21/2013 8:20:20 PM)

The answer isn't love. The answer is 42.

But, since you're the one who made the OP in the group, "Ask A Submissive", you're the one who's supposed to know what the question is. But, after reading your profile, I'll take a stab at guessing what it is.

Why aren't young, submissive girls trampling each other to become a fetish object for a suave, sophisticated, extraordinarily handsome, educated, brilliant, extremely wise and not to mention humble, Uber-dom like me?

So, umm, what's the question?
If love is the answer, what is the question?

Edited to mention the OPs wisdom.

There may be many reasons why a younger girl/woman may prefer to choose an older man. Some of them can be because:

•They may be more matured and responsible.
•Older men mostly have established careers or business which gives the financial stability and comforts a smart girl/woman desires.
•Older men tend to be more caring and may consider you more, and also be an authority figure in your life - who can and will take charge of things better.
•They are more reliable and self-disciplined - compared to their young counterparts.
•They also seem to be more devoted to their partners and their relationships, and normally do not run around flirting or sleeping around with several women.
•They are more sexually experienced and know how to please their partner and how they want to be pleased.
•They may also be more knowledgeable about the 'lifestyle' and real life in general, because of their own experiences about what makes a real relationship work, and they usuall don't commit the stupid mistakes that younger men do.
•An older man may not need to be pleased sexually on a daily basis - which most woman consider as a positive thing.
•He also may not want children from you, as he might already have had some, or he may be more willing to secure yours, which is definitely a plus for a service-oriented woman.
•He is more knowledgeable because of his age, and because of this wisdom, he can teach you, motivate you, guide you, control you, and make you feel more free to be yourself - safe, secure and confident.

You need to work on your pitch. I think most young gals would start yawning a third of a way into this.

LadyPact -> RE: There may be many reasons why a younger girl/woman may prefer to choose an older man. (3/22/2013 12:54:14 AM)

Fast reply.

Sounds like a lot of words that could have been summed up as "older guy attempting to convince younger chicks to dig him".

Anybody want to lay odds that the profile says 'single and looking'?

A: Just maybe because the self-description obviously doesn't fit.

LOL - thnx for the advice. I'll have someone file it away under "seeking reality - found it - then changed direction.

I'll agree to agree. Leave the comments of "people pointing stuff out" who are probably just filtering what they read through their own experiences of lack thereof, and continue merrily-on defining for myself, friends and lovers, what is the "mature, wise and classy thing" is to be and do. I'm trying to live forever - so far - so good. :-)

mymaster121 -> RE: There may be many reasons why a younger girl/woman may prefer to choose an older man. (3/22/2013 4:40:38 AM)

FYI: May be... does NOT mean is. As in all things, it depends on who and what the person (under consideration for anything) really is, regardless of their age.

For the record sweetheart: Running around "advertising" is best left for the punks, fakes and wannabees, who don't know that the way to catch "butterflies" is to stand still, put your "net" away, keep your mouth shut - and open-out your hand. :-)
On the other hand; whenever we open the screen door for fresh air; we have to know that flies, mosquitos ,and other bothersome, harmless insects, can, and will - also enter in - usually just looking for some sort of meal. The trick is: To know that, smile knowingly at how many in the world really don't know fuck, be as good as you can be yourself, strive to be better all the time, and get on with living the precious life that you've got, for as long as you possibly can. All the time being appreciative, respectful and grateful that you're fucking alive and well.
